Dear folks at NFL throwback: Yesterday, the NFL's all time leading scorer Adam Vinatieri retired. I know he's just a kicker, but he's still a legend of the game. I think it would be cool if you did highlights on the game that saved his career in the first place, 1996 Pats vs Jags week 4. Adam was nearly cut the week before after some poor performances, but he ended up being the hero of that game. It was a pretty exciting game between teams that eventually met in the championship game that year.

Man it's amazing how horrid our offense got after Ben went down two weeks before. That backfield was full of busts. Our O-line besides Pouncey was bad. And our receiving core had young talent (AB, Sanders) but goodness Mike Wallace would just give up on any play where he wasn't getting ten yards separation. I though it would be a long time before this offense was good again, but thankfully the Killer B era started in 2014

As great as the Killer B era was, the defense was unfortunately not up to snuff to make a legit Super Bowl run. Top that off with Brown and Bell being divas. This year is gonna be sick though with Claypool, Washington, JuJu, Pat Freiermuth, and Najee. Just gotta hope the Oline even gives Ben enough time to use them...

Browns typically lost these types of games pre 2018. We weren't always as bad our record said we might be. We were "in" most games, to the final minutes. This was one of the exceptions. Thankfully Batch and their RBs were awful.

Yep you just gotta compare the Browns 2017 season to the Lions 2008 season for example. Both went 0-16 but the Browns were significantly better. Browns losses by one score: 6 Lions losses by one score: 5 Browns losses by 21 or more points: 1 Lions losses by 21 or more points: 5 Browns Point Differential: -176 Lions Point Differential: -249
