It may have looked boring to anyone who isn’t a fan of either team but I imagine the Florida fans had a sense of urgency the entire time and me as a Georgia fan... I was sick the entire game knowing that those field goals could have and should have been touchdowns. Knowing that they could come back at any time and score taking the lead. It was a nail biter. UGA defense was what won us that game. Florida could have won easily if it weren’t for our defense. Great game.

To me, this was a game that really wasn't as close as the score. Despite having the worst offense they've had in years, UGA took the lead in the first quarter, and the Gators never even managed to tie it up again. Florida only had 279 yards of total offense in the game. Despite Florida boasting a defense that was supposed to be pretty good, UGA was only a few yards short of 400 in total offense with a unit that under-performed all season.

When Florida's D needed to play their best, they played their worst! No sacks, turnovers, and very little pressure. They kept playing off of their WRs, and Fromm kept torturing them & the tackling on 3rd down was ATTROCIOUS! The offensive play-calling was almost as bad. 10 running plays max in the first 3 quarters is HORRIBLE! They needed to run the ball, sustain drives, and keep Georgia's O/Florida's D off of the field, and they didn't do any of that. They should have had Georgia's mindset

english guy here, started getting into college football recently, question about both this and the nfl though - why don't they teach players to tackle properly? in rugby you're taught from a young age to wrap your arms around their leg to stop them moving, hit with your head behind their legs so you don't get booted in the face, hit low and drive through the tackle. it nearly always stops them in their tracks and they can't roll forward and reach out. especially 3:05 - if they were taught how to tackle properly he would have stopped him at the 1m line or driven him off the side of the pitch

Most teams in NFL can tackle pretty well, but in college, especially UGA, we always give an extra 1-3 yards per play because we dont tackle them correctly.

With the talent disparity and depth problems Mullen inherited. Frank's played horrible in 18 still didnt pull away till the 4th. 19 a different QB whole OL gone no run game at all.
