Starting from the days of Mirch Masala, films with powerful female protagonists have been persecuted mercilessly. I really don't agree with you. Most of the time directors try to make art. Movies are art. If you don't like it, it's absolutely fine for you to not watch it. Movies should be pushing the envelope. Like in France, where the government allowed children over 12 to watch the fifty shades movie. Not saying that such movies should be shown to children, but mature adults over 18 can certainly make an educated choice for themselves.

Arnav Bhagwat I agree with you on the bit that movies are art. But disagree that movies must *always* push the envelope. It isn't necessary to always go beyond what is palatable for regular audiences in order to make art. We've seen umpteen examples of great content conveyed without having to show every single thing, and allowing audiences to infer the obvious. As for the part that children should not be exposed to such things, you're completely right. But in India, for instance, digital media today is completely unregulated. If you watch some content on Ekta Kapoor's channel AltBalaji, there's enough and more videos displaying extreme nudity and substance abuse which are not even age restricted. Filmmakers and producers should also respect that freedom that digital media gives and self regulate their content. Having said that, I really respect your opinion and thank you for sharing your views respectfully :)

I wish audience will get used to such culture and never mind nudity and such biology is not a fantasy anymore.
