Rhodey's Armor is new. In the movie when Ant-man wakes up from unconsciousness, the Iron Patriot armor can be seen behind him. Off-screen Ant-man shrunk it and brought it to Rhodey. You can google the screen shot or watch the movie

For real, not only could Thanos have gotten all the stones in his timeline. If he wanted to, he could've also went to the future timeline and snap there as well. And before anyone says it's too much work. Just think that in Infinity War, we see Thanos and his crew kill half of planets MANUALLY (remember the Gamora flashback). Thanos finding out where exactly the stones are, and retrieving them, is hardly work if you see it from that perspective.

I just figured Hulk's snap returned a lot of stuff to the way it was right before Thanos' snap in Infinity War. It wasn't just their body that got dusted. Clothes and presumably the contents of their pockets. If Clint's wife had a charged, working phone when she was dusted, then she'd have one when undusted

The point of returning the stones is not that they don't want to change the timeline, but that they don't want to destroy the timeline. A missing stone has serious consequences, a stone in a different form will just alter the timeline. They already changed the timeline when Loki escaped, so they might not care much unless they know the consequences are world ending, which they can't actually know. As long as the stone is in the universe right after it left originally, his goal is achieved

It was a plothole for various other reasons though. Chielfy, that A) How is Tony "You're only a genius on Earth" Stark able to make a gauntlet that can hold the Infinity Stones when Thanos, working with more advanced alien technology, has to have a dwarf forge him one? B) The Hulk (you know, who was the most likely to be able to pull off a Snap among all the Avengers and is nigh-invulnerable?) could barely wield the power of the Stones and nearly dies from his Snap, how can Tony even wield all of the Stones at all? It took all of the Guardians to hold *just* the Power Stone.

A) He could have reversed engineered the original gauntlet off screen in the 5 years between Thanos losing his head and Tony's snap. B) Tony had his entire suit on and he did DIE using the stones. The effects of the snap can be seen on his body and suit AND the a fore mentioned death.

@@__________1175 I don't think the whole "Tony would have died from just holding the stones" thing tracks. In GotG, the power stone is in the orb. That metal container keeps it from doing any sort of harm whatsoever to literally everyone. Why is it so hard to imagine that the nano tech in the Iron Man suit could have a similar effect as the orb? It even goes someway to explaining why Banner was harmed by the stones when he snaps everyone back, ie he was just wearing a gauntlet, not a whole suit. Less nanotech to mitigate the stones power, more damage done to Banner. But since he is virtually invincible, he survives.

@@__________1175 any glove can hold the infinty stones as long as its held in the same way as shown by the similar pattern and placement for it on both gloves. The difference between the Infinity Gauntlet and Iron mans glove is that using the infinity gauntlet means people wont die from just wearing the glove and when they snap their fingers hence why thanos didnt die and is super chill when he has the glove on. He only suffered serious damage ie the burn on his arm when he used the stones to destroy the stones. So of course Tonys glove cause its juts an iron man thing cant really protect the wearer and hulk was only able to wear it and survive cause as the movie explains cause of his gamma radiation resitance. Now holding the stones is never a instant death either its a slow burning or disintegration so you could do what tony did still.

The wrist watch works like a vortex manipulator rather than a tardis, its not as reliable, which is why nebulas messes up. But if you have access to the more powerful and accurate machine of course you’re going to use it. 5. Captain Marvel doesnt need a suit as she has a resistance. At the very least, getting the stones away from thanos would stop him from wiping out the galaxy with a snap. Its not an ideal plan but its the best they could think of that time 4. And even then This one is admittedly contrived, but they couldve very easily traveled to earth and taken pym particles from there, and it wasnt shown on screen because of the element of surprise, the russos explanation also, yes whilst contrived, is possible 3. Russos have explained that Banner also failed against Thanos, therefor he realised that he cant succeed just being one or the other, and being both was a worthy experiment. And in a universe like MCU, this kind of science isnt ridiculous. 2. Ever seen Jackie and Pete’s reunion in Doomsday, parallel versions that hadnt ever met, but love is so much stronger than these nitty bitty morals. Saying that paralel versions being together is a lie and immoral isnt true because with an explanation and a “i know this isnt what we both originally wanted, but it is something we can have” i think is believable. Captain america treating himself to something he wants feels deserved after all the years of work hes done. And peggy carter would understand why he did it after his explained it and most likely would accept his proposal. 1. Wiping out a world with one stone yes. Wiping out a whole army, and every single version of that army in paralel timelines. No. Starks snap completely wiped out all possibilities of any Thanos coming back. There is now no possible way for any Thanos from any paralel universe to crossover as with that snap he killed all versions of him. Cutting the tree from its root. There we go all holes answered!

So what eventually did happen with Hulk and Tony, means that you pretty much can do whatever you like with the stones, when wearing them.

He was still wearing it when they arrived he would have known they were coming and would have wiped them from existence. The reason they got them when and where they did was to get at them when no one was looking.

If Cap Marvel got to the van she would have just stayed there in the quantum realm with the gauntlet. The plan was to just keep it away from Thanos. He can't get it if it's in the quantum realm. Hell, she could use it once she's there.

He has the TIME stone What Culture, which we've seen able to manipulate individual objects along their personal timeline. He just reconstituted the Tesseract, Sceptre, necklace, orb, and aether back into their original states using the Time Stone before returning them. Why does no one remember this ability?

I mean regardless of whether or not he used the time stone (if he even knew how to/was able to), I’m pretty sure in the movie the Ancient One doesn’t say they need to be returned to their original state before the Avengers extracted them, just that the stones needed to be returned to their respective timelines. So, in theory, you could just take the Reality Stone back to Asgard without it being in its Aether form, same with the Mind Stone not being in the scepter anymore, and the Space Stone not being in its Tesseract form anymore. Cap would just have to bring the stones back to wherever they got them, and just leave them there.

A couple things that really bothered me when I saw the movie: 1) Thanos destroys the stones because he thinks his job's done and the universe will remain perfectly balanced forever for some reason. It somehow doesn't occur to him that the universe will eventually repopulate. 2) When The Hulk snaps everyone back, he doesn't even know they'll have to fight Thanos almost immediately. Yet everyone is suited up and battle ready. Just imagine what must've happened with The Wasp, for example. It was confirmed in _Spider-Man: Far From Home_ that people reappeared at the exact same spot. So that means Dr Strange teleported to Hope's closet, grabbed her Wasp suit, teleported to the pier where she reappeared with no idea what was going on and said "Quick! Put this on! We have to fight this purple guy and evil space army in like 15 seconds!" And that's just for one character!

1) He expects everyone to be grateful and realize he's right thus they will never let it get so populated again. He's the Mad Titan for a reason. 2) Everyone was suited up to fight when the got the stones. It's doubtful when they got back that everyone was thinking "let me get out of my battle gear" Hope wasn't at the Pier when she dusted. They were on the top floor of a parking garage. We've repeatedly seen them carry their suits in small form. which is probably how she's carrying hers. Also the sun is higher int he sky when Hulk snaps. The attack is almost immediately after that snap Doctor Strange knows what's happening next by the time everyone joins the battle already in progress it's darker. Time for him to gather people.

I like how the narrator specifies what plotholes are and how the term is misused and then proceeds to make a list of questionable points and not actual plotholes. "How does rocket make a machine to take out the reality stone in Jane?" I dunno space techno babble like in all the previous movies where they establish he's a techno-whiz that whips up gadgets all the time and earlier in the movie was around people designing time travel. I'm sure he picked up some shit from the other people there or they helped him with his plan or the designs to the gadget? "How was war machine able to move without his leg braces and wasn't his armor broken?" Misses how when he shows up again he's in a different suit and misses how the suit could be moving for him. If they can make braces to help him walk they can put that into the suit...

One thing bugged me, in Endgame it's stated that Scott didn't age because time works differently in the quantum realm, years in the real world are just minutes/hours there. But in the first Ant-Man movie, we learn Jane van Dyne was trapped in the Quantum realm 30 years ago, then when they rescue her in the sequel she had aged at a normal rate and was the same age as Hank Pym. That plot point in Endgame completely contradicts the Ant-Man films and Feige has even admitted as much

We dont' question why Iron Mans suits progressed so fast when tony says 'nano tech'. Like in star trek you just give a veneer of plausibility and follow it up with immediate action so that the audience has no time to really question it. This had very little action at all, most of it was a 'drama' where we had plenty of time to be bored and contemplate how ludicrous what we just saw was. But Superman is still considered a classic despite the idiotic notion that flying fast around the sun will go back in time. Even Star Trek stole that one, but with things like the holodeck and matter transforming devices, they simply always attributed their origins to alien technology. They got cocky with this one, they figured if they talked MORE about time then they could fool the audience into plausibilty, but there's a reason why Back to the Future had a crazy doctor. Its a fiction the audience just has to accept, like Alice in Wonderland-hey, there's just a world through the hole, just go with it, or Narnia or any fiction. You try to explain these things too much, you are just digging yourself a bigger hole. This was a perfect example of how NOT to write time travel into a script. When people talk about flying around the sun fast to go back in time they just laugh and move on because there is little that can be said. I don't think ANYBODY has come out and said "the time travel device was done remarkably well in this picture".

Only the Power Stone, as far as we can see. Red Skull was able to use the Tesseract without killing himself, and Jane survived having the Aether physically inside her. Arguably, there's also Loki and Vision using the Mind Stone, and Strange using the Time Stone, but some might dismiss that as them being powerful enough to wield them. But Skull and Jane? Not a chance. The Power Stone, on the other hand, can't even be HELD by someone who can't withstand it, let alone be used. The other Stones don't appear to have such a effect.

But what about the timeline that 2014 Thanos came from? Clearly, he didn't succeed in THAT one. Interesting idea, although in the movie they specifically say in that scene "We need to get the stones back where they came from." So they are getting the gauntlet to the van with the intention of time-traveling. My guess is they either were going to try to force some solution on the spot (maybe with the power of the stones?), or just... were caught up in the heat of the moment. After all, it was Scott Lang's idea after Cap told Hawkeye to get it away ASAP. He is known even in this film to have some half-baked ideas... (Granted, that second idea would be pretty disappointing.)

This is shown in the MCU as Hulk is the one that controls when he comes out not Bruce. In Ragnarok Hulk lets Bruce hit the Rainbow Bridge and then changes. In Infinity War he refuses to change. Bruce even says they were both beat by Thanos and agreed to become one to be unbeatable.

No. 6 is explained by the movie. They have enough for one return trip, but they can use it to go further back. In 1970, the lab that had the Tesseract also had Pym particles, as Pym worked there. The quantum tunnel bs is a plot hole. They can just use Pym Particles and their watches to pinpoint when (and somehow where, tho that's not depicted very well) they want to show up. The quantum tunnel thing only works to get the two timelines to merge, but beyond that its pointless. Stark and Rogers show they don't need the quantum tunnel to time travel when they go to 1970.

His own Shield got smashed to pieces by Thanos, and I think he didn't even leave with it to return the stones. The problem no one thinks about when time traveling to stop something bad happening is it's not a Sports Almanac. Biff never does anything that changes the outcomes of those sporting events he just bets on them so his knowledge stays good for those fifty years. But say he buys one of the teams with his wealth he could inadvertently change the outcome. If Cap starts changing world history then this will ripple out and affect other world events. For example if you went back and prevented WW1 this would stop WW2 because it was the situation caused by the first one that allowed for Hitler to rise to power. So he would have to pick one event and only get to change that. As for Cap hiding his identity it was the forties. I'm sure the government knew that Cap was a time traveler from the future and he was ordered to stay the hell out of the way. Shield would have known who he was but the Super Soldier program was already Top Secret and this was a pre-internet era. For Sharon to see Uncle Steve and then Cap and make the connection they are the same person she would have to know and acknowledge that time travel is a thing. By the time she was born Uncle Steve would much older than any version of Cap that she'd ever met and it's unlikely her human brain would make the connection that the two were the same person.

However, as for the plan, there's a reason he's called 'the mad titan'. Its a BAD plan, hence why he's evil. Perhaps beings such as Captain Marvel were the reason Thanos spent so long before collecting the Infinity Stones. He had to wait for most of them to die out (Ego, Odin, etc...) and to manipulate events so the Stones were near each other. Thanos wasn't a direct threat until Infinity War and there's no indication that Captain Marvel is omnipotent. The Pager would be her first indication something is very wrong. Also there's nothing saying she hadn't actually fought Thanos on other planets but she can't e everywhere all the time. Thanos is the Mad Titan for a reason he's insane. His logic is bullshit. That's not a plot hole that's just how crazy people think. Bruce didn't build a time machine. Tony did. Bruce built a machine that fucks you up. I like what you’ve presented here, primarily because the footage reminds me of how great the movie was. MCU packed a lot into that movie, but they can only do so much. Choices had to be made with regards to plot lines and character interactions. I’m fine with a simple explanation for Hulk, War Machine, and a mention regarding Steve Rogers staying back in time. For example, there is Beta Ray Bill footage that wound up on the cutting room floor. At the end of the day, comic geeks like me have learned to accept these non-mentions, etc (plot holes) from reading the comics for years. The MCU is better... but they can’t escape this aspect of making movies out of the comics. But keep making these vids, and I appreciate your effort because it helps us learn about these wonderful stories at a deeper level. GOOD JOB!

The movie literally shows you that they can navigate through time with just the bracelets. And the plan with the van was to get rid of the stones. And are you dumb? Thanos is a genius and and almost all the alien characters are nearly as smart as Tony Stark. The wrist devices are more than just GPS, they must be linked to the vortex, Cap uses it for the returns at the end without coming back every time. 5. This did come from Scott Lang, of course, it wasn't thought through. 4. Didn't Nebula call them there, rather than them heading there themselves?!? 3. This was foreshadowed since Ultron. 2. Didn't the writers clarify this by saying that Cap did indeed create an alternate timeline and he, in fact, came back to the MCU via technology from his own timeline that would be explained in future films. 1. The Stones were already killing him when they attached to his armor, much like when Hulk first put on the Iron Gauntlet, the "Snap" was the fastest way and according to Dr. Strange, the only way out of 14 billion.

Chris Allen no it’s has some and I agree with that, like number one. I’m not saying it’s perfect. All I’m saying is they need to do a bit more research, if they had just watch the movie again and looked at the scene where where war machine and rocket almost downed, they would have seen the armour. It was the same with their stranger things plot holes. The were easily explained if you just look a little closer. It really feels like he’s watched the shows and movies ages ago and are faintly remembering things they just didn’t understand and instead of trying to figure it out they just plopped the, together and made a video. Endgame has some plot holes but most of these were easily explainable

None of these are plot holes. There are valid explanations for all of them. #8 Rocket, Tony and Banner had 5 years to learn about the stones after the snap #7 War machine had a new suit in the background at Avengers HQ that he could have used after the old one was destroyed #6 Basically all of the Avengers who were time travelling needed the wrist bands would be constantly sliding through the quantum tunnel, except for the wrist bands which they program to keep them in a certain time and place. So once as the program the wristbands with a new time period they slip back into the quantum tunnel until they arrive at their new destination. #5 The quantum tunneling device in the back of the van allows people to travel into the quantum universe. Also, Ant Man's suit is built to travel into the quantum realm just as he did at the end of Ant-man and the Wasp movie, when he was stuck for 5 years. #4 Ebony Maw was shown to be a scientist / electrical engineer or sorts when he was able to retrieve 2023 Nebula's memories from 2014 Nebula's network. The fact that Thanos also rebuilt Nebula into a cyborg means he has some sort of engineering capabilities. So it is possible when they got the band and Pym particles from 2023 Nebula, they could find a way to reverse engineer it for them to come to the future. #3 Smart Hulk was explained with one simple line in Endgame. First the Hulk lost against Thanos, then Banner lost against Thanos, then the entire world lost. It makes sense that they would then merge the two best parts of each into one. The muscle of Hulk with the mind of Banner. #2 In order for the victory in Endgame to remain permanent Steve knows he can't meddle with anything in the past. And Peggy might object at first, but she would also understand what is needed for the greater good. #1 Doctor Strange told Tony there was literally only one outcome in which they win out of 14 million, and then gave him the signal to let him know what that one choice would need to be. If Tony had tried anything else it would have inevitably failed.

Only that it really wasn't, there were various alternatives, the one in the video only one of them. Why didn't Captain Marvel do the snap? She's powerful enough to take it. Why didn't they somehow bring back Tony, either using the Gauntlet OR via time travel like they did with Gamora? The Guardians of the Galaxy movie would play out with no Gamora and Drax not joining up with the others for revenge leaving Rocket, Groot and Quill by themselves in a universe with no Thanos and thus no Snap.

I have some problems with your "plotholes": 1. Character arcs you don't agree with or don't see coming are NOT plotholes. Whether Hulk's and Captain America's choices were consistent with the character's previous development is fair, albeit debatable criticism. But they are NOT plotholes. 2. Explanations aren't always spoonfed to you in Endgame. That doesn't make it a plothole. This applies to Thanos and his army jumping to the future, Tony and Steve jumping back to the 70's, and Rhodey in a new suit (note that the suit he came out in was different from the one he was buried in), and Rocket & Thor's knowledge of how to extract the reality stone. There isn't enough information to declare any of these plotholes, or even unreasonable. 3. You need to be careful about confusing headcanon with ACTUAL canon. In your point about Tony's use of the snap you assumed that the snap caused his death and not prolonged contact with the infinity stones as demonstrated in Guardians of the Galaxy. You also assume that use of the power stone alone would be enough to defeat Thanos and his army, which is highly debateable. When Steve Rogers returned the stones to their proper timelines, you assumed that they had to be returned in precisely the same condition as they were taken. But nowhere did anyone ever say that; that's headcanon. You can't conjure plotholes using headcanon.

I like how when Thanos gains the ability to TIME TRAVEL, his first thought is to go one of the only places in space-time where he could be defeated. If Ebony Maw can reengineer pym particles, why not just build a Time Machine on the battleship and just decimate endless timelines until he has the stones? Tony basically said “hey AI, discover time travel.” And it did. Why couldn’t Ebony Maw do the same if he and Thanos are so smart and had the particles?

He showed up 60 years early lived his life, did his thing in the branch timeline, then used the wrist device to pop back to the main timeline when he was supposed to 70 years before. If the timeline Rogers is with Peggy in is anything like ous, he clearly explained to her that his "other self" NEEDS to be on ice, in order to help stop Thanos in the future. If Steve isn't there then Loki would've won in The Avengers and Thanos would've killed half of earth etc etc. Peggy would indeed let Steve stay on ice. She's a soldier. She undrstands that duty goes before anything else.

You messed up on War Machine- it's not a plot hole - Rody is wearing a different suit after Antman brings him out of the rubble..the Patriot Suit...which is visible in the background in the rubble. Ant and/or Hulk must have helped War Machine get to the new Armor.

RDJ was done playing the character as Chris Evans was done playing Cap. Both actors were given definitive ways to leave the series with no way to come back and allow the actors to walk away. Also the Time Stone would undo the Snap. Since the Snap is what caused his death. In Doctor Strange if he restored the page to the book then the bad guys suddenly wouldn't have the page but they do have the page thus creating a paradox.
