All convicts regardless of what they did should always be handcuffed with their hands behind their back. It’s for everyone’s safety.
@adrinathegreat3095
@adrinathegreat3095 2 ай бұрын
Yes but it goes against the concept of innocent until proven guilty, bringing someone in handcuffs shows the court room this person is dangerous and untrustworthy, let's convict him and get on with the next. If someone is innocent until proven guilty, how come they are locked up against their will until they are brought to trial, this implies they can't be trusted and are already guilty in the eyes of everyone and actually they are there to try and prove their innocence. Guilty is already presumed. Even if you were to argue that they would not turn up or had a history of skipping bail, then again I'd say, they are assumed guilty and are just waiting for the guilty verdict to be confirmed. Hence guilty until proven otherwise.. Now if you are extremely wealthy with the money and means to skip bail and leave the country, e.g. you are rich and have connections and friends with private jets and boats, then you get bail..
@BeastCake1349
@BeastCake1349 2 ай бұрын
@@adrinathegreat3095That’s a very good argument there. I didn’t think of it that way. You’re absolutely right though. He could be innocent and the cuffs make him look guilty.

That is per corruption a life in prison for a crime that wasn't even severe just because he followed a woman in a bathroom there are more severe crimes out there that deserve that type of sentence then that this type of crime at least 6 months to 2 years in prison and at most 5 to 7 years in prison this was a way too excessive that's why we don't need a jury that's basing their judgment on their feelings and emotion instead by law In fairness and justice.

Violence is so commonplace in the US that no-one bats an eyelid at this guy assaulting people in the street. What a shithole. If this happened where I live, it would've been stopped at the first attack and more than likely Hypolite would've gotten the bash himself. And that's why this kind of thing rarely happens here. Because we get involved and take care of business until the cops come. Plus the fact that guns aren't a factor in our everyday lives and community.

We need to understand that being at the top of the pyramid of creation means that everything we do trickles down the structure, from top to bottom. When it reaches the bottom, the inanimate level of reality, from which everything grows, it changes it. If we ooze ill-will, it creates negative changes throughout the system, which manifest in increasingly extreme climatic and geological events. In other words, when human relationships go out of balance, everything goes out of balance. When our relations become extreme, everything becomes extreme; when we become violent, everything becomes violent. Each summer, the ramifications of the linkage between our relations and our world become more extreme, until we acknowledge that everything that exists, exists in a connected, hierarchical system and that whoever is at the top determines the state of the rest of the system. It is not as if previously, we were better people than we are today. It is simply that there were fewer people, and therefore fewer elements that exude ill will. Also, relationships between people in the past were less toxic than they are today. While there are fewer wars today than ever, the levels of suspicion and alienation between people are skyrocketing, to the point where people can no longer trust their own family members. As a result, wars between countries are rarer than ever, but divorce rates, domestic violence, and violence in the community, are at an all-time high. Even the internet, which we invented purportedly in order to connect people, is being used to abuse, deceive, and exploit people. The world-wide-web proves that everything we create, we use against others. When there is such a negative element in a system, and that element is at the top of the system, how can the entire system not go awry? Therefore, if we want the weather to cool, the sea-level to drop, and the storms to subside, we must cool the fire and calm the storms between us. Mutual concern, mutual responsibility, or at least the knowledge that we are dependent on each other, are necessary in order to restore balance in our world at all levels, from the ground we walk on to the hatred in our hearts.
