Hi Laura, In times as this, could you please have a video that incorporates all 8 limbs of Yoga to enhance our 1.Immunity, 2.Lung health and 3.Fortitude.This will be tremendous health for everyone.

hahahahahhaha...I have the cards THE POWER OF NOW since 2005/06. I love that too. Even without knowing how to read ENGLISH, I went to my fav EXOTERIC/ BUDDHIST STORE in SANTA MONICA & the cards called me. So, I bought them. & after I learned ENGLISH, I loved them even more.

It is interesting how things find their way into our lives! If you like the cards you should read the book- it is so helpful...& it is awesome that you are doing all this study in your second language 👍

I love this explanation of meditation but not sure this is actually dhyana as it’s meant in its original form. This is more a step leading to dhyana.

There is a huge confusion of words between western translation and eastern sanscrit words..Lets understand them...Focusing is directing of atention,concentration is focused atention in a united and unified manner,contamplation is observing,meditation is observing in profund manner ,dharana is fixing the attention and stop it....and this is the difference between focus and focus stopped ,dhyana is uninterrupted dharana,or dharana with flow,..dhyana is the highest step of dharana where by fixing the object of attention ,the object is penetrated...Dharana is the highest type of focus where attention stops,dhyana is that uninterrupted stopped focus where the object opens itself and is penetrated ...Samadhy follows naturaly after dhyana and samadhy is identification..There are few words to understand samyama(dharana,dhyana,samadhy united)..They are fixation ,sugestion,sensation or fixed attention ,connection,identification with the object of attention

Hi, Laura thank you for the awesome class. I have a question. In yoga class, we often do meditation then breathwork then asana. But according to koshas circle, should we do asana then breathwork and meditation? Or if it's in just one class, it actually doesn't matter, and as long as we practice asana and breathwork daily, then we are able to prepare for meditation?

Asana-to-breath work-to-meditation is the right sequence if you are doing it in one single class. In this sequence, yogi is moving from Gross level to subtle level and then to the subtler level. One can also go for Asana & Breath work in one class and Meditation separately or.....Asana in one class and separately combine Breath work with Meditation.
