does anyone else’s gyms around their area always have DIALGA? dude it’s like constantly raid hour in the main park in my area. the mega medichams are so hard to find

Ok, I thought I was going insane. YES. I think I saw it pop up on the closest gym at least 6 times yesterday. Usually the gym is lucky to get 4 raids total, let alone 5-star raids.

Yea lately every two hours 90% of gyms are dialga it's weird. If I drive a bit out of the city I'll find the other stuff for some reason

Nice to see some content from Delta! In future, when putting together these vids, could you also include budget options for those who don't have the g-max 'mons? For example, I wasn't playing when G-Max Gengar, G-max Toxtricity, the G-max starters, or G-max Lapras were out. I've been making do with the stuff that's been out since January 2025. It has absolutely been doable.

I'm actually on the island now, but grew up in Ladner! I mentioned the Zapdos counters in last week's video, since they take a while to build up for free-to-play players. If you're looking for stuff to use, it's just what's available in the lower tier Max Battles: Cryogonal for the Max Attack phase, and Venusaur as a tank (and restart or hot-swap if Zapdos is using Drill Peck). The Excadrill from the research is the best choice as a tank - honestly, Drilbur should be in Max Battles instead of Wooloo this coming week...

@PokeeSeanGO yeah - I've set up Excadrill to tank and also have a Rillaboom (too hard to find Bulbasaur candy). I'm going to use Metagross (psychic) for DPS as both Excadrill and Rillaboom are set up to tank.

Not sure if there was an issue with when the walking needed to occur but I was only able to do 3 using your MP banking method. Walking before 2pm only netted 300mp and not 600mp.

I’m having that issue too and have been looking into it. Their wording on how that bonus works is very flawed. It seems that you’re forced to go through a 2km/300 MP cycle before the bonus is active for you. I’m definitely not impressed with how they handle that. I’ll be locked into 3 instead of 4 battles today as well. There’s apparently a convoluted method that involves not maxing out on Friday, and doing a literal walk between 12 and 5 AM. And with that you can overload your limit on Friday.

You’ll need to buy the ticket to do 8, and just carry forward a full load of particles from Friday. To do 9, you’ll need the ticket and to claim the 600 Bonus particles after your first battles. There’s a chart of the process at the end of the video ✌️

There should be no cut off for battling Gigantamax or Dynamax battles tbh. If I wanna go out at 12 am and do one I feel like I should be able to. And I hate how you can only do one or two legendary bird dynamax raids bc you can only hold 1200 MP and it costs 800 MP to battle them. So stupid they didn’t raise the amount of particles we can hold. They want that money. Greed.

Against Zapdos, yes, it's one of your better options. Gmax Charizard would be a bit better, if you have that. Articuno or Cryogonal would also be better than Gengar, but understandably harder to prepare.

It’s sacrificial. Gets you to the first max phase so you can shield up your Excadrill for the remainder of the battle. Not necessary with a high enough level Excadrill, though.

Movesets aren’t that important. Your tank (regular phase) should use its quickest fast move (water gun on Blastoise) and not use the charge move at all. Then in the Max Phase, your attacker will use its Max Attack.

I think either having it as a buddy (walk 5km for candy), putting it in weak power spots (5 candy per 3 wins), or rare candies are the best ways. Not very fast ways mind you.

Would also recommend doing as many dmax battles, raids & Go Battle league as possible since all these methods can be use to get rare candy & Candy XL.

If you can coordinate with others (or use multiple accounts), leaving them at power spots works to get some. If 3 battles are done at the power spot after you, you'll get a max of 5. Still... slow. Sometimes I see them in the wild near water. I might drop some rare candy into it, at some point.

No one came to do the zapdos monday in my area even in a f ing mall where normal lobbies are full in normal 5 star raids. Like wtf? The power spot is right infront of the mall. Just stand near the mall doors like wtf???😅😅😅
