I appreciate this video, it demonstrates that you and other pros are not perfect and you guys practice a lot! I'm sure a lot of aspiring pilots are wondering where they are going wrong when they crash all the time. I think these outtakes are a prime example of what people can expect, accidents happen. FPV flying isn't the just the perfectly edited gopro videos we watch daily. Gotta get that stick time!

How often do you change motors? Do you oil/replace bearings? Love your videos. Really inspired me to get into fpv and put up with all the crashes while I'm learning

Never. I've only killed about 7 motors in the last year and a half and it's always been because of a Kiss fire.. Never just because of flying or crashing

Steele!!!! Those fires scary the shit out of me! Got 8 ESCs from the first ever batch, and they still strong and I crash hard and always! Got had just 2 bad ESCs in almost 16 months using it... One because wrong failsafe and other one of the solder pads went off... If that start to happen to me, never going to use it again! Blackout has the esc on the arm, if some happen to mine, going to burn everything from inside out!

I have had them in crashes just like you, but also after arming my motors, then I heard a beep and the well known crispy bubbling. 2 times till now... Were the fires mostly your esc's? Presumably the one with the billowing smoke was a lipo going up. I guess if you crashed in the wrong place at the wrong time it could really end in tears. Great footage though. :-)

I also have the added problem that iv always run my gopro with no battery, powered off the bec to get weight down, so all my big crashed cut power and corrupted the files.
