I used to do tattoos in a shop back in 2010-2012 when I was a teen and did my apprenticeship, then had a bad experience with my mentor who ended up being a really shady dude and scammed me so I stopped tattooing for over a decade. About 4 or 5 months ago I got back into it and have been watching all your videos to re-learn everything. You and the tattooing101 channel are by far the best on YT. Really made it quick and simple for me to get my routine and skill back plus alot of ur tips are even better than what my mentor taught me in person so my tattoos now are even better than when I worked at an actual shop lol❤

Hey Ben You make tattooing easy to understand. I have no arts background and only started getting a few tattoos last year at 59. I'm having fun at home and learning a lot from your courses. Thanks mate.

This is such sound bullet proof advice. I’m not a tattooist and have just got a tattoo kit as I would like to try something new. I’m not even sure I would want to do real skin but I’m gonna enjoy the journey and all your advice is Definately taken on board.

I've been doing your course for 2 months now and I am really happy with the results so far. I already had an art background so it was more about learning the tool for me. And I love the explanations behind how the machine works, the speed and motions you explain are in depth and I appreciate it. The only thing I'd change is making it easier to download all the stencil from a unit in one file because it'd be easier to print out and plan on the matt where everything goes. Can't wait to tattoo more complicated designs and tattoo actual people when the right time comes 😊

is 32 too old to start tattooing? I've been practicing but have doubts like I should of started it in my 20s…. I am an artist and have a degree in art.
@BenFisherOfficialАй бұрын
Nah, 32 is definitely not too old! You're just getting started! Plus, your art degree means you're already ahead of the game. Keep at it!

after getting robbed on my first 2 tattoos because it was only recently made legal in my state here and the shops are insane I decided the $40 Amazon kit and a couple youtube vids later.. I'd tattoo myself. 1 and a half sleeves, 2 legs mostly covered some chest, face, and neck stuff and yeah. not exactly the best or smartest decision but I like em and am proud and for some reason I get more compliments than hate and boy do I get hate (LOOKS LIKE YOU LET YOUR KID DRAW ON YOU WITH CRAYONS!!!!) nope I am that kid! 🫡🤣🤣

Cheers for the support. I do advise not to use real skin to practise on while learning though. Keep going!
