Looking good. Your hair is progressing nicely. I just got my 4 week retie this morning. I lost a loc while I was bundling and banding yesterday to prep for wash. I was completely devastated. My consultant had to talk me off of the ledge today. LOL

Hey@@natashasblogspace, I'm in Greater Manchester. My hair was only 2" long, so have been growing it since last summer. Was hoping to get it done at 4",but it will be more like 5 or 6 by the time lockdown is over and I get an appointment. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Already had a consultation. Have you had one yet? How long is your hair? 🇬🇧

I found a great consultant, had my consultation but had to postpone my install as my hair texture was too soft to lock at 2 - 3.5inches (we were worried about slippage). So we agreed to do the install next month...if lockdown allows 😭. I think by then my hair will be 3 - 6 inches.

I've also tried to use the satin bonnet and pillow case, and find that it causes my scalp to sweat also. Now that cheap poly & ester bonnet they claim is satin absolutely no problems with scalp sweating. Thanks for sharing your journey as you are 1 of the few I've found rockin the salt and pepper journey.

OMG! Your locks are progressing so nicely! I can really tell that they're filling out and your hair looks really thick in the back. I'm 3 months in now. Some of my ends are unraveling but, I believe it's because of the texture of my hair. I'm always braided and banded when I'm just at home.

Hi! No I don’t do braidouts on my hair. I do very little manipulation to my hair. I think a braidout would be good if your hair has some heat damage from straightening it that way it will give it a crinkly look-does that made sense?

Thank you! Yes I do dilute it most of the time. I put about 2 tap fills into a spray with about 60-80 mls of water

Do you find that the sisterlocks shampoo got rid of buildup? I feel like after shampooing three times, I still find buildup in my locs and it makes me wonder if I’m diluting it too much!?

Hi! Hmmm..I feel like the sisterlocks shampoo cleans my hair either way diluted or not. It does feel squeaky clean when I don’t dilute it. Maybe use less water when you dilute it.
