How about a video on how to get work with solidworks? What do companies want to see? Where exactly in the market should we focus?

Hello Sir I see realview graphics feature but not working in solidwork 2022 ?
@with-Aryan Жыл бұрын
Firstly, RealView Graphics requires a graphics card that supports OpenGL 2.0 or later. If your graphics card does not support this, then RealView Graphics will not work. You can check whether your graphics card is compatible with RealView Graphics by going to "Help" > "System Information" > "Display". Under "OpenGL Capabilities", you should see "RealView Graphics" listed. If your graphics card is compatible with RealView Graphics, but the feature is still not working, you can try enabling it in the SOLIDWORKS options. Go to "Tools" > "Options" > "System Options" > "Performance", and make sure the "Use software OpenGL" option is unchecked. Then, go to "Display/Selection" and make sure "Use software OpenGL" is unchecked as well.

Good day, In case you have visibility issues of the icon and feature properties, I would highly suggest to watch the video on a larger screen like a computer or a TV. Another alternative is zoom more than 100%-200% on the KZbin app on your phone.

Hello friend, I am facing a big problem with solidworks 2020 , actually when I m entering in sketch zone, the software runs so slow, every sketch command like circle etc is working very slow but when I exit the sketch the solidworks runs smoothly , I don't know what happen Is there any solution for this ?
@with-Aryan2 жыл бұрын
Go to settings and find IMAGE QUALITY, try reducing that and see if that helps. If not, your PC or laptop is a bit weak. Consider working on a different PC if you have that option.

does Solidworks have something similar to 'fit curves to mesh section' as in fusion 360? I see Slicing also makes ton of entities that is heavy to process and time consuming. Currently i just manual my way out by creating another sketch and then playing with splines, lines, etc to redraw shape on top after slicing...
@with-Aryan Жыл бұрын
Yes, SolidWorks does have capabilities similar to the 'fit curves to mesh section' functionality you mentioned from Fusion 360, though it may not be as straightforward. SolidWorks has a feature called "Auto Trace" that can be utilized to convert images or sections into sketch entities, which can then be used in various modeling operations. However, this feature works primarily with 2D images, not 3D mesh data directly. For 3D mesh data, you might consider SolidWorks' "ScanTo3D" feature, which can help to create surfaces or solid models from point cloud or mesh data. But this feature is available only in SolidWorks Premium version. The approach you're currently using, manually sketching over a slice of the model, is a common practice in SolidWorks when dealing with complex or organic shapes. Unfortunately, while this can yield accurate results, it can also be time-consuming. Here is the step-by-step process: Import the STL file into SolidWorks. Create a new sketch on the plane that you want to slice the STL file. Use "Convert Entities" to project the intersecting lines of the STL file onto your sketch. Use these projected sketch entities to create your new sketch geometry. This can be quite manual and time-consuming as you mentioned. Depending on the complexity of your mesh, using an add-on or specialized reverse-engineering software might be a more efficient way to handle this. If you are frequently working with mesh data, it could be worth looking into more specialized tools or software packages that have more robust functionality for working with and converting mesh data. Remember to ensure you're using the best tools for your specific task and requirements. While SolidWorks is excellent for parametric modeling and has some capabilities for working with mesh data, other software like Fusion 360 or specialized reverse-engineering software might be better suited for certain tasks.
