Those plastic, iridescent scallop shells look fantastic! You nailed it with the wax on top of the chalk. They look real I’ve spent 1/2 of my life in Florida end the only reason I would question it is the size; they usually aren’t that big!😂👍😎 Very cool ideas! Thanks for sharing them with us ❤

A tiny triangular flag would cover the hole at the top of the sail on the sailboat decoration. You could make it out of a matching ribbon and glue in 2 places so it looks like it's flapping.
