Yes - power armour gameplay mods analysis is a definitely a worthwhile exercise. There are many - all claiming varying degrees of complexity or simplicity or depth, or this or that.... etc etc.

Dpillari made a seriously good-looking Institute PA recently, highly recommended Edit: Correction, it's actually a retexture (with new meshes I believe?) of the original Institute Power Armor, be sure to install that mod as well.

The confetti power armor texture is most likely from an incorrect BA2 compression, unpack the texture BA2s and repack them using the DDS format and default compression and it should fix itself.

If you ever return to Power Armors, try out Super Alloys, it standardizes Power Armors the have the same available Materials, adds extremely well made 4k textures and even makes Tesla Coils visible when equipped, fantastic mod, I use it in tandem with Dpillari's PA frame retexture and an Enclave Paint Scheme for the X-01

The Liberty Power Armor I think goes well with the Sentinel Power Armor companion from the creation club if you bought that. Especially if you use the Liberty Prime voice on Sentinel

Tumbajamba's PA mods are worth a look at. As well as some of the 76 Ports like Hellcat, T-65, Construction and Ultracrite.

2:35 For alternative there's Synth Power Armor from Tumbajamba that is kitbashed from synth armors. So if you retexture the synth armors to black it will apply to the power amor as well

Could you do automatron mods next? The robot crafting system gets dull after a while, so new mods to spice it up would be nice.

Lot of the power armor mods have crafting patches that make them way better, especially if you want multiple sets and want to give it to followers

theres an improved version of the institute power armor that adds hd textures and paintjobs, also there's a mod that puts the armor inside the institute

There are not as many power armor mods out there, but they are commonly pretty good, I have some softspot for the submersive PA redux, is an awesome thing.

There is a version of the institute power armor recently made by dpillari that i consider to be the defintive version of the armor , it looks far better than the original one or his old retextures
