@grey_d 1792 Yes but many of us are Americans and our culture is "American", though you wouldn't know that from watching TV news. What is American food? You probably think burgers. Yes but also lobster, fish & chips, roast beef, fried chicken, roasted turkey, lake perch, sautéed shrimp, bison, deer, elk, oysters, clams........it all depends on which part of the country you are in. By the way, excessive "diversity" has destroyed the United States. It's in decline now, a break-up into a few smaller nation-states is probably going to happen in the next ten years. Splitting up ethnically, culturally. I hope so (sorry to get political).

This is very informative and it's really cool to know about Japanese women quirks and features, u don't really hear much of these online. TBH as i Filipino i think it's wonderful to marry a Japanese women if you know how their culture works and how u adapt and fit-in within their system, but to be brutally honest i like western women more not because they're white, black or whatnot nor because they are more approachable compared to Japanese women, but the fact i'm so familiar with there lifestyle and it's easy for me to adjust and fit-in the same time. Im not being biased it's never been my point, it's simply the fact of my own opinion it has nothing to do on others opinions aswell. Who knows perhaps someday' sooner i'll get to marry an Asian Women' heek even a Japanese one without me noticing the sudden change of direction to where my heart takes me.

"Drinking" means different for Japanese and Filipino. There's this thing called "nominication" in Japan. Nomi - to drink Nication - communication It's basically an after party for Japanese companies to deepen employee relationships but you're just basically pleasing the boss by pouring him drink and entertaining him. (They also pay for it out of their pocket) It is not mandatory to go but not going will look bad in your image. (Standing out is a bad thing in Japan)

There's always a barrier between people especially when they're belong to different cultures but despite this fact, I believe that, as a Filipino, that we Filipinos are flexible to changes that if pursuing your beloved which he or she is used to her mother tongue, Filipinos always have ways to learn and adjust for their beloved. So maybe, as for me (although I'm minor and I never experience this kind of thing) I believe that there's always a solution in this kind of barriers because if it's for your beloved and if you really love the person, you'll take risks for her. Ps. It's only my opinion. I really like your contents, stay safe :)

I did dream about dating a Japanese chick when I was younger. But whenever I observe the behavior of any of my Japanese lady friends when they were studying abroad out here in Hawaii, they were always polite and accepting of whatever was offered to them. Which a part of me questioned their honesty from time to time. Eventually as I got to a certain point in my 20s, I decided to date with what I was already familiar with: A Filipino lifestyle. My wife is Filipina but if you look at her, she could easily pass for Japanese or Chinese.

I think this is some great insight that if I do happen to date a Japanese girl there are some deal breakers like what you look like (without makeup) (personally I like it more when girls show their authentic self), values/beliefs, ghosting is apparently normal in japan (depending on the career you can talk either daily or at least spend an entire day out of the week with the girl), Not particularly fancy about alcohol (tried scotch once and it's really bitter).
