I moved to UK in 2001 and lived there until 2007 and then moved back to India for good. I now live in Shimla with my family and life is good here. UK has seen better days but it's not a good place to live any more. By the way Dubai is even worse... you will realise later. Nothing better than India especially Himachal... lovely place, warm hearted people and excellent air and water quality.

Good points. I was in a high paying job in UK. Lived there for 18 years. Very well settled. Yet moved to Australia. Most of your points are valid, but things like high taxes, long wait to see a doctor and being away from family, cultural issues, crime etc are applicable to any of the western/ foreign countries. In my view, UK specific points are: 1. NHS is great health service, but of late things have deteriorated. Option: you can have private health insurance / have private treatment similar to India. 2. Salaries are low and not in like with inflation ( you can lead an average decent peaceful life on it, but can never become rich). 3. Work pressures are high. Getting worse. 4. Weather: it sucks! 😱. But so does in Canada, other European countries, parts of US, NZ. Yes Australian weather is much better if you live in coastal areas (not in remote desert areas or North). 5. High cost of living, high inflation rate: of late, prices have gone up a lot. But so is the case everywhere. On positive side, it is beautiful highly developed, safe, powerful country, with very class education, health system and infra structure. Very good for young people, best for holidaying and centrally located if you wish to explore Europe, and has very polite, generally nice people. No country is perfect. Go anywhere and you will it’s own set of problems (including in India). It depends a lot on personal preferences. All the best!

I have a 5 years long term skilled worker visa, I came directly for job, no masters done. Yet, I am going back. All the facts you mentioned are actually accurate. Mainly the NHS thing is the reason why I decided I do not want a life here. What if you have something critical and it does not get treated on time? Oh God. I can't even imagine. Gentlemen you are very correct . All points you raised ref to UK are very true . One more & VERY IMPORTANT point is that if you come to UK or any western countries WITH family then be prepared that after 3/5 years time your children will not come back to India even if feel like moving back to India . In short you will loose your children and this will bring pressure to you & to MOTHERS specially much more. So if you are prepared to loose your children than come to UK otherwise EAST OR WEST HOME ( India 🇮🇳 )IS THE BEST . I have gone through this pain and am suffering a present.

I have lived my self more than 5 years in UK from 06/08 till 02/14, I left the country that time because UK had massive changes in it's immigration system, I have been working from last 9 years in Dubai now but honestly every country has its own pros & cons, Dubai has worse weather, extremely vulnerable job market means you can loose job any time then u have 30 days to find new one or go back home, extremely expensive education & medical insurance system, extremely high rents, if you want to live with family of 4 in total including your self, you need AED20k/pm, it's a bare minimum,also you cannot become national in uae ever, In uk if you pay tax you get many things in return, if you say uk vs uae, I would say uk,many people in south asia wants to leave thier countries due to deteriorating economic situation in their countries, Bro khushi say koi nai jata pardes but jana parta hay, abb 9 years bad main again UK main job dhundh raha hun, so you can imagine, but all what you have said in the video is literally true but again people has no choice.

Living is obviously better as compared to India, but it comes with a huge price. Lots of hard work and sacrifices. Big chunk of your salary goes for taxes and huge amount goes for mortgage. In the end, you are hardly left with much money. It takes years to establish yourself in any foregn country. Everyone faces hard times and go through the struggles. And you have to do it all alone.

Absolutely correct. Plus, the job market is very competitive. Even if you apply for 1000s of jobs. You rarely hear back. Even if you heard back from them, you usually have to go through multiple rounds of interviews. Be one from 100s of those backup candidates that companies keep throughout the interview process. Most of the times, international students won't be able to find jobs after graduation, and they have to go back to where they came from after paying 1000s of pounds in tuition fees. There is very low ROI compared to hefty visa fees and NHS fees charged. Apart from this. Salaries haven't increased in years, cost of living is very high. There is not much saving after paying all your bills. There are not many travel options whilst you're here (like Philippines Thailand or other sunny countries) as they're miles away and you would need to pay high flight prices.

I came to the UK as a student year 2007, recession hit in 2008 and I lost my part time job, I was dead broke. But I hassled in the cold harsh weather, completed my studies, got a job, saved money, set-up a firm, sold the firm in 2021 and retired. It all happened in 13 years. UK is not for the weak, if you want to be successful here then you have to integrate with British community and also depends on your mindset. Your current situation does not determine your future but your thoughts will. I think I am the only person in the comment section that likes UK. This is a beautiful country, fresh air (outside London ofcourse), pure water and non gmo food, excellent private healthcare, good transportation networks, best restaurants in the world, best social life, Europe is 45 minutes away, and more importantly great people to socialise with.

I think you perceived it wrong mate. It’s not about liking the Uk. even I love a lot of things about the UK. But the things is there are some realities that need to be spoken about. I just did that. I never said anyone to not come or Uk is a bad place. In my previous videos I have myself explained good things too. Great that you have made it there, well done. But you find only yourself speaking positive is because majority of people struggle there and this needs to be clear in someone’s mind before coming rather than living in a la la land. Again I’d make it clear, I am not against uK it’s everyone’s personal choice.

I even liked London ..Central London it is the attitude, the mindset etc which matters. I found the people friendly .. Mix of various cultures, etc.. It is a good place .. you need to be a good person and have good friends.. Note currently I have left uk, But enjoyed uk. a lot Plus points of uk 1) Good transportation .. The bus also is so cool. .I Never had any issues while traveling in their bus. so silent.Tubes,etc 2 ) I Found the people very friendly actually. I was never in. a gang.. gang of my own type of people ..never..Stay away... 3) Culture .. Dont underestimate there are good people there too.. 4) Very organised, 5) Positive mindset .. etc Currently situation in uk will be bad ..cause of inflation,russia ukraine war. Nhs could have become weaker. and if population of any country comes in mass.. those country people will face huge trouble.. Note there are people in uk who earn 1000 pounds a day.. Note also there are many problems of drugs. Also it is a well managed city if there is a crime the police will drive in 5 minutes.. There are good things and bad things..also be human.. I mean if you go to. a country and mass population ..takign their peoples job there is going to be conflict.. People can easily be stabbed.. but again depends on ur area .where u live ,etc. If u dont like English songs dont go there.. quite simple ..

This is a negative video that spreads myths. The NHS offers world-class medical services. Alcohol is also a part of life in India, and it is an individual's own choice. Yes, taxes are high on income , but the government provides good protection compared to other parts of the world. If you lose your job, they take care of your housing and food. Since you are in Europe, the weather is cold, and it's something you should know before coming here. I would suggest that if you don't have the capacity to adapt to another country, it's better to stay in your home country, but please refrain from spreading prejudice on social media.

Well said, people born and brought up in India are so pampered, especially guys. In Dubai, if you lose your job you are out of the place, back to where you came from. Living in the UK as a student, without surety of getting a Visa to continue staying is a challenge, but for those living there for a while, they get their parents and all live a good life
@delhiboyabroad
@delhiboyabroad Жыл бұрын
I’d suggest go and do your research please. NHS waiting times have become worse, they may provide good treatment but it is about accessibility. A person who gets a an injury has to wait 6 hrs to get treated - don’t know if you define that as a world class medical service. That’s the thing I just made people aware about these conditions those who aren’t aware of it. In india, alcohol may be a part but it isn’t selling like a cold-drink in supermarkets nor there any kind of appreciation for the same. It is definitely required that people have that capacity to adapt but they SHOULD know these things. There is not a single thing that I have discussed is wrong. Well if you term it negative, then it is part of the country and students MUST know about it before they plan to spend huge amounts of money.
@delhiboyabroad
@delhiboyabroad Жыл бұрын
Well, thanks! But those pampered guys are the ones working the hardest jobs in the UK. Yeah Dubai has got a drawback of no PR but that’s also true not everyone is being provided a long term visa in the UK. Students MUST know that it isn’t a lala land. Thank you!

@@delhiboyabroad they treat depend on emergency waiting time is vary depend on que that's their system some come from other country to India and say why doctor charges are different it should be same but that's Indian system hope you understand the point.for so many illness, Indian has to spend thousand and thousand such as cancer while NHS offer free. you should not represent negative way but make aware to people in informative way. Alcohol and meat their part of life like Indian's Dal chawal and Roti we can not challenge their culture because we go there on our wish they are not inviting us to come there. I lived in three developed country I would say UK offer quality life and protect human rights which is most important. I am agree when you are on student visa scenario is different still you are treated same that's human right.
@delhiboyabroad
@delhiboyabroad Жыл бұрын
@@harshidarami3043 i never said we should challenge their culture. All i said is information related to their culture which SHOULD be said. Well not everyone can come to the UK with a mindset that they’ll get cancer treatment for free. Instead, more day-to-day difficulties are equally important. Getting a blood test done without cost takes months, if you have any illness all you get is pcm. In case you get a cut or bleed, you have to wait 6hrs minimum. All this is in public domain, and I have seen it too. Yeah every country has its own pros n cons and it is completely okay. However, in India many people are being misinformed. They are only told healthcare is free, however they should be told the real situation of healthcare. They’re told the Uk provides benefits, however they should also be told there are certain criteria for it.

@@aks96666 since 2years I am in Brazil and I feels it's really good place . Mostly the people and the calture is very open minded and respect every one and the earnings are good compare to expence. The laber law is good and centric to people .it's a devloping country and very good opportunity for every one compared to developed countries. Only challenge is about the language. I think that will be removed once you start living hear and slowly you learn the language day by day .This is want I feels hear .
