Regarding McCarthy and having him play loose in practice and throw a bunch of interceptions and learn from them - According to Devin Gardner, that's why he didn't get the starting job his freshman year. He has a tendency to experiment and do wild stuff in practice and then button it up more in games, and some of the coaching staff were nervous about starting him because before he became the starter they only saw his practice play.

The point that the Chargers defense is nowhere near the strength of this team is a valid point for picking up any passing game player in fantasy, because despite that all-pro dynasty offensive line that they're developing, you don't run the ball when you're playing from behind.

I got brooks and McConkey at 2.02 and 2.03 with Burton in the mid 3rd im excited to see what those guys do I feel like I got them in great spots

@zacharycarvalho1383 hell yeah, I traded out of the 2.06 for a 2025 1st and got the 2.12. The guy took Penix. I took Sinnott at the 2.12, and Roman Wilson at the 3.01. All the RBs I liked were gone!

Never bet on rookies early rounds though, because even the best rookies are at best average

Not true at all some especially running backs can be Rb1s and just last year Laporta was a top te and many WRs have done well rookie year see Chase , Jefferson , Moss etc… Don’t miss out on a great player be he is a rookie . I agree don’t over draft but don’t pass one up at a good price either

I’m not investing in a guy like JJ McCarthy who is coming from a system with a top 3 O-Line, great running game and stud defense where he was asked “Just don’t mess it up” to a situation where he’s replacing a QB in an offense predicated on throwing the ball 38 times a game

Not at all. Chark was available this late for a reason, he's terrible. In terms of effect on Ladd, minimal, because they are two completely different types of WRs. Chark will be used for deep targets on play action if he makes the team.
