@@blazeclarke I am wondering this - I used to run a modded S4 (nothing like this) and the DSG had a noticeable delay when you let off the brake for launch control. I mean it's not "long" but it's definitely not instant and I could never figure out why they did that. I'd assume the TCU tune would rid the car of that infernal behaviour but maybe it's just a design thing? The last race when he actually managed to anticipate well he walked away but every other race Ken got a massive jump.

Ken’s incredible sportsmanship during competitions showcases his great spirit. I’m from Germany and grew up playing games like *Need for Speed: Underground 2* and *Colin McRae Dirt*. Ever since Ken Block, together with DC Shoes, started creating the Gymkhana series, I’ve been-although I dislike the term-a true fan of Ken Block. He was not only an amazing athlete but also a wonderful human being. It deeply saddens me that he’s no longer with us, but he passed away doing what he loved most. Rest in peace.

Audi is running drag tyres all round and warming up vs the Hoonicorn. The Hoon is faster but... Not by much, that is a feather in the audi's cap that at the right day and the right time that car could beat the hoon.

They said they asked him to show up on regular tires (so he could swap them for drags when he got there) but the Audi owner misinterpreted and took that as he needed to be on street tires for the entire event. Maybe I heard wrong or that was a joke that went over my head but that's what they said.

When Ken and Ford parted ways, The Ford Racing team waved Ken goodbye and then took the Hoonicorn back E: He doesn't have the HoonicornV2 (Hoonicorn vs the World) He DOES however own his very own Hoonicorn that his Daughter has been trained to drift/drive/race. I think its to do with the DSG in the Audi, The Hoonicorn is sitting on the E brake with clutch engaged ready to go. While a normal DSG system disengages the clutch when stationary, So the car would have to engage the clutch before taking off. Obviously the Audi isn't a normal car so I cant say for certain.

Go back and watch the 3rd 1500 ft race. Even if the Audi got the hole shot, the Hoonicorn was walking away at 1,000 feet. That Audi did not stand a chance when the boost was turned up. And that was on DOT street legal slicks, not full race meat.

Kens car has a trans break, it instantly launches once he releases the lever. the Audis Electric DSG trans has slight lag to launch, it’s the electronics preventing a fast launch that could damage the transmission. If they had a Pro tree the Audi driver will take it, I’m sure he can predict the lights giving him a more accurate launch. Who’s car is faster (the audi) he didn’t go all out, while the hoonicorn gave all it had. Just look at the last launch Audi hit the spray and it was all over.
