Really rich women never buy “ carefully curated basic pieces” Tailors actually seamstresses are an excellent idea. But they are extremely expensive. $50 for a blouse or pants $200 for a dress $350 for a skirt suit. No one sees any more. Not even fixing a ripped hem most “ tailors “ in America work in dry cleaners And aren’t tailors at all just basically do hems. And really rich women can afford lots of clothes in different colors. Beige is not a color. Beige and black are the colors of people who can afford only a few pieces of clothing . Not just neutrals and black Rich women don’t need an entire wardrobe of beige or black and white so everything matches. This advice is for women who can only afford a few things in the same color so everything matches. I remember as a teen fashion articles telling low paid women office workers to buy everything in either beige or black and white. So no one will notice they can’t afford many clothes. 😊
