WOW!!! Steve you are making this all look so easy!!! I am aspiring at the moment and trying to learn before kicking off. I certainly chose the right person to get me fully inspired. Your explanations are so clear and I like how you lay out your objectives for each shot. I have to admit that I really had not thought in the way you do but I can see just what a difference these different techniques make to the visual presentation later. Some really professional videos. Thank you for sharing your expertise with ALL. I shall certainly be watching many more of your videos Steve. Grand work!!!

First time I came across your stuff, the day after my first gimbal arrived. This is good stuff, will check out your other gimbal clips. I wrote down the shots you covered here so I can keep a shot list with me for ideas. Here's the list: 1) The Push Through - move through a doorway 2) The Slider/Reveal - find a focal point and use something in the foreground to reveal it 3) Lookup Slider - look up and slide along a wall or look up and move through a doorway 4) Fake Crane - using tripod extension, start low and move up, use a "reveal" position if possible 5) The Low Rider - get low to the ground and move forward 6) The Stretch Out and Lean Back - start low and forward then move up and reach back 7) The Cinematic Orbit - use slow motion, lock onto object and move around it, or move toward a close object until it comes clearly into focus 8) The Look Up, Crane Shot - set the camera close to a wall and move up slowly, textured walls make the shot more interesting. Thank you very much for your content!!!

It looks good! Nice work... and what a church! To see the underside of the archway was amazing... the skill and work that someone did so long ago.... and their kids and family would have been proud of them... and when they were dead for generations people would have thought "my great great granddaddy helped build this church!" And that's the beauty of film and video.... we can see the works of the world.

Hello, you are talking about layer of the shot when filming. You are talking about it 2:22 in your video. How you make sure your 3 layers are sharp on your phone? I know you can tune it in app like filmic pro just adjusting a focus on all 3 layers. Is this the way you do it or there is any other way when filming with your phone in native app or perhaps DJI Mimo, Filmic pro etc? thanx
