I bought similar positioning pieces and I love them, especially when I want to do multiple mats. They make lining them up so easy! What a lot of great techniques. Before I got a stamping platform most of my card designs were sans stamping and I would create the card base with a printed sentiment inside.

Stamping…what’s stamping? Jk! Lol! I actually gave up stamping a few yrs ago for dies, embossing folders, stencils, etc. I did have many many yrs of stamping now it’s the other ways. 😊 I love your cards and your ideas!

I am surprised at how much my papercrafting has changed over the years since the introduction of die cut machines and affordable thin wafer dies, these things have been a game changer... and don't even start me on coordinating layering stencils and 3D embossing folders lol.

I use mine with the A2 Layering dies from Waffleflower Crafts here (SSS affiliate link) shrsl.com/2i4z9 but check your stash as you may already have rectangle dies that work with them. Beautiful cards! I love them all. I guess I'm one of those rare card makers who does NOT like to do stamping, even though I have tons of stamps to work with. But I love die cutting and using pattern paper. So these ideas will definitely come in handy. Thank you for all your great ideas!

We are quite spoiled with the options, so many amazing stencils and dies there is no need for stamps if you don't want them lol.

Therese! Thanks so much for these techniques! I’m not the best stamper ever though I have a stamping platform…I just end up getting ink on my fingers, my wrist, my clothes! Die cuts and patterned paper are my friends! But I also liked your hot foiling! So shiny!

What I can't get over is how similar some 'black cats' look, I see photos sometimes and would insist that it is my Lili except I know it couldn't be lol. Big hugs to Coona and Mudgee... although, I know they would probably run rather than be hugged by a stranger haha.

We have always had black cats and most of them didn’t really seem interested in being with me in the craft room. But the two we have now do and since I do not have a door to my craft room, I have to be careful about what I leave out! Jinx loves to knock things off!! Your square card is my favorite. I love stamping my own backgrounds, however your "no stamping" ideas are absolutely lovely. I have to try them. The only thing I don't have is the hot foiling, but I did get some of the foils that only use the laminator - I'll try with that. Thank you so much for sharing.

Yay, so nice to hear from you Patti! yes, things are warming up a little and we have a camping trip lined up before the school holidays start in December so that should be wonderful! Did you see Lili in this video (she makes a short appearance at the end and it was her 13th birthday (but I forgot to mention that lol). My husband is working Christmas this year but my brother and his wife are planning to visit so I will have someone to keep me company.
