Ive cleaned carpets for a year. The industry is so under regulated. Its a necessary service but since carpets are thick and most of the dirt is unseen, clients have no clue and technicians are incentivized to cut corners. Thorough often goes unappreciated and larger companies pay technicians 20% and the whole thing ends up being dollars per room with the end result equating to clean= when the client doesnt complain.

Hello, fellow cleaning services company owner/operator. Great video, well done! Just wondering if I missed the last 2 steps in your 8 step process? Is extraction 7, then I'm guessing drying is 8? Thanks so much
@AdrianoOliveira-cx4xj7 жыл бұрын
great video.. I would like to know which machine was used to make the extraction, the video does not appear on the machine .... It would be the equipment that several American companies use, that are coupled in the car, and you enter the residence only with the hoses? I'm from Brazil, here we use another method of cleaning, I found yours very interesting and I would like to do the same here in Brazil. Thank you very much for your attention .... great job from the company of you

Thanks Joe for your kind comment. The agitation machine is a brilliant machine. It is called a TM4, there is a newer version called the Pro25 which is even better.This is a site your side of the pond - www.smart-cleaning-solutions.com/products/tm4-crb-counter-rotating-brush-machine

Nice job,i would try something OTHER THAN water to rinse l the carpet ike fiber rinse .i used release it punch or odor bans 3n1 carpet cleaner which LEAVES no residue and its cheap and you can get it at home depot for 10 bucks a gal ,use 1 quart per 5 gallons of water for your stock solution and set your chemical metering between 4and6

Never heard of that term. Upon reading product description, is it similar or identical to encapsulation?

Geoffrey Howells If I am honest with you I have always used microsplitters so I can't comment on that.

It seems to be a UK term or product. But I would like to learn more about them.

Hi Geoffrey, thanks for the comments, and sorry for the late reply, we were using in that video, a safe for wool microsplitter which I believe is 6.6 ph so pretty neutral :)

Great video but the pre spotting should be done after the cleaning, as after pre spraying and agitation the machine will get most of if not all of the stains anyway.
@OfficecleanBridgend8 жыл бұрын
Hi Pelaquin, the type of stains we deal with before the clean are those that require solvent based pre spotting makeup etc...:) Thanks for your great comments
@EvergreenCleanNorfolk8 жыл бұрын
Cleaning Solutions Bridgend Ltd We do it the other way around once the carpet is clean, It is more effective if you think about it, but clearly you know what you're doing though so I don't mean to patronise you.
@leebreen88258 жыл бұрын
I work the same way as CSB. Solvent spotters will be less effective post rinse as will alkaline aqueous spotters if an acid rinse has been used. However depending on the type of spots post spotting is also an option, no two jobs are the same. Great video as always Mair.
