Thank you uploading this song. My dad was my hero then married my step mom and she wasn't nice to him or me. But he was always my hero and worked his butt off for me and my brothers while we grew up and then some. Now sitting here thinking about him, he passed away from Covid19id19 in April and I wasn't there now just have the guilt. But this song helps some.✌❤❤✌

This song can touch so many whose relationship with their fathers was/is...less than ideal and professes a confused feeling when … he seeks to come back into one's life,after "whatever". Love this song. Anyway,while with a crew on a remodeling job the owner and I were discussing music and he said he thought I might like a recent band's debut cd he had,and would burn a copy for me. Received it the next day and although it did take a few listens to "hook" me (unlike Armored Saint's Symbol Of Salvation,which took longer even)I began to appreciate the whole album in its entirety with each listen ! He turned me on to them and that was awesome ! Were it not for this, 8Stops7 would likely have remained off of my music radar for who knows how long...LoL ! Years later I messaged the guitarist Seth Watson and asked why he was no longer in the band. Though it was I believe a few or many weeks afterward he kindly took the time to actually reply that along with the music industry being what it was then he sought to pursue his other passion...pharmaceutical studies ! Everything (almost LoL) In Moderation...You will be Satisfied once you Question Everything !

I've finally found this song! I remember listening to this song when I was just entering to my teenage years, I once cried listening to the verse that reads: "...That I don't need your help, don't have to save me from my self or take me out to prove that I should live my life like you."
