Yes there is settings for it. I am also left handed. Being left handed is actually really cool. You plug the cable to the right side of your laptop instead. Now use your right hand on the keyboard or on the tablet's buttons

try tracing! i know often people think it is "cheating" but it helps you get better! trace styles that you yourself want to have, and you will soon (after about 1 month or so) be able to draw the style on paper, with no tracing! continue to do tracing over time to continue to get better! I did this with Animal Crossing, and I am now able to draw a good looking character and background! Let me know if you have questions, I am always happy to help!

2:11 honestly you could change settings for the placements too.. you can even use your tablet vertically by changing the settings.. there are no restrictions.

I see all these "woe is me, I'm left handed" posts. I'm left handed and the tablet is actually nicer being left handed. I don't have to move my hand across the entire tablet, or use my other hand for that matter, to press the buttons; it's as simple as moving my drawing hand an average of 3-4 inches to press a button (less if I stretch my pinky). I feel no need to change any settings other than button binding as it still works flawlessly, if not better than originally intended (for right handers).

I have a wacom by one small I have been usin it for 2 year and I just can't get used to it like my sketches are a lot faster and better traditionally since I started to take photo of my sketch and do the rest digitally I have gotten so much better but still really frustrating I seriously need to buy a display tablet

Hey I have a question, I have a StarG640S and I use it with my phone. I often plug and unplug the tablet to store it somewhere, so do you think that is bad for the tablet? Should I just keep the USB plug in and store it just like that.... I scared that if I keep doing that the USB hole(don't know its name) would get too loose overtime.....

mouse mode is best mode if you have small drawing tablet. bcs your line size is exacly same as what you draw

Is it just me or whenever I draw, the thing on the screen which like the circle thing where when you draw a line is first loading and and not like the ones I see during the drawing tutorials, it's smooth like drawing in a paper and not stopping and loading before creating a line... is it the setting or something?? I just started watching...I havent drawn on the Wacom since I bought it (5 years ago...I needed it for security related work...long story, signatures needed etc). I am/used to be an artist (not sure if theres such a thing such as an ex-artist?). I dont brag about my artwork, partly because I dont care and kind of hate it (childhood unpleasantries). I won a silver or bronze in the art olympics (or is it olympiads in English?). I was, and still can draw just about anything. My biggest beef with the tablet is the alignment. I cannot draw on a desk (not to mention having to keep the keyboard off and aside, means its a paint in the butt using erase, merging layers down etc). Sketching is fine, because the eye will see the general idea, and you can hash your way and adjust to the screen, but for outlines (think animation outlines) I cannot find any simple method. Getting used to it as some people say does nothing as the tablet is never in the same position. Im about ready to use the lasso outline and go really manual in my outlines. I think it would be quicker (Im at 100 attempts before I can get a good outline...and only short chunks. I cant do nice long fluid lines because it WILL buckle at the end, which is a driver issue, but such is life on Windows 7). I also use a very...VERY ancient photoshop. Version 7. Not the Ver 7.0 from like 2000 something...no, I mean, the 7th version, so no auto lasso, nothing, just basic pixel level stuff, but its ok, Im used to it and can do great work with it. So, any tips on how to draw with this thing? Im half tempted to get my ink and draw my hand then scan and cleanup. Im working on a silly video (you know, time lapse drawing because Im a bit bed ridden at the moment and cant do my usual stupid content)? Hi, I was wondering if you could help me choose my drawing tablet? I was always a traditional artist, and I wanted to get into digital art too as well, I was looking into pen displays, and I thought they were drawing tablets that you can carry them anywhere, they charge or need to be plugged-in to be on, but I was wrong, it needs to be connected to the computer to work, which mean without computer it's completely useless. It's just another screen to draw using your software comfortably; please let me know if there is more to that. And then there is this amazing expensive tablet, galaxy tab S7. That is so slim, the display is big but not too big, and it could do more than drawing, like a lot of tasks. Although all I need is a tool to draw digitally, since I have my laptop and phone to do all the other tasks. I was wondering which one is better. I was thinking to get myself as the pen display Huion kamvas 13 pro, but I feel hard choosing it over Galaxy's one, what should I choose?

They’re using photoshop! But it depends what your budget and needs are! some really good options are Fire alpaca (Free) Paint tool sai Clip studio paint Krita (Free last I checked) Some tablets also come with software for free !! I got 4 free programs with an old tablet I had

Yes, this kind of drawing tablet requires a computer. No requirements for the computer though, even the simplest one will work perfectly. Can be a laptop or a desktop pc

Try to find videos that use the same tablet as yours. If you're using it the same but you are experiencing issues, then it's likely you have a bad tablet. Or maybe it needs to be recalibrated.

The most annoying thing ever: making a line too long or short for literal minutes simply because you can't see what you are doing properly. Even after days of digital I strongly prefer traditional, but I'm still just getting into it so I'm still trying for a bit since it takes practice to get into.

When I got my first drawing tablet and used it I couldn't even draw a decent face XD and I was like "How do people use this thing?" I've been drawing on paper for 17 years so yeah.
