Tip from a PB pro. Check the wind conditions before visiting or The Big One may be closed

Man, you guys' videos are criminally underwatched. I appreciate your channel just because you cover the UK parks instead of just Universal and Disney. You know, I'm a huge dark ride fan, it'd be neat as heck to see more coverage and info on UK dark rides since there's so little info out there for those of us in the states.

Hey thanks for the appreciation 🙂 we actually made a video last year about why there aren't more dark rides in the UK. We'd personally love to see more in the near future kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGq9pmemoqprfLM

@@ThemeSeekers what about Alton Towers and their seeming focus on walk throughs. (Black Mirror, Ghost Train, etc.) I guess they aren't dark rides per se, but I feel like they're at least a similar vibe...
@ThemeSeekers Жыл бұрын
They're both in Thorpe Park! Yeah, they wouldn't class as dark rides in our opinion. Thorpe Park could really do with more!

@@ThemeSeekers See? I get them all confused, haha... Real question though. Why are so many Euro attractions themed just terrifyingly... Smiler, Saw, Wicker Man, 13, that one drop ride, 1800 whatever... You look at US rides, and we're all superhero this and mine train that, or race cars and rocket ships the other thing, and then the UK like 'how about some straight up Midsommar shiz???' I mean, I've been in the haunt industry for decades, I love the creep factor, but I feel like there's a really deep cultural difference there...
@ThemeSeekers Жыл бұрын
That's a really interesting observation! Maybe it has something to do with the thrill factor in America being based on speed but in Europe it's based on fear. For Wickerman in particular, it's based on old English folklore, and rides like 13 and Hex kind of play into the whole haunted manor vibes that are rooted in Alton Towers as a historic estate.

I went to Blackpool pleasure beach when I was younger with my mom my sisters and her boyfriend and his kids and I went again last year with my mom and my dad took me there when I was really young.

2:28 just to say, you can also get paper tickets at the ticket centre in the casino building at the start of the park.

another thing that could have also mentioned about the parking or if staying in blackpool is make use of the trams, considering a weeks unlimited ticket is the same price as parking for the day...
