It’s wild how many people don’t negotiate at all. I know tech recruiters. Every first offers comes with wiggle room on salary/bonus in case the hire asks for more.

There's a psychological/economic component to this. It's much easier psychologically to negotiate if you aren't in a financial crisis and/or needing to escape a toxic workplace asap

Yes, you can share there’s no issues with that. Verbal is good for most situations. If they ask, it’s totally fine to show your offer.
