Sewell, announced that 32 alleged members of the 8 Trey Crips and its affiliate, the 9 Ways gang, are named in a 140-count indictment for allegedly committing shootings, possessing guns, and using stolen cars during shootings, to eliminate rivals that included members of Folk Nation Gangster Disciples and ICG Babiiez.

Will such an extensive arrest and removal of a previously gang controlled areas across Kings County (Brooklyn) create "vacuums", that now desperately needs to be better filled with community engagement based initiatives? These are hard earned opportunities (compliments of the NYPD & City Hall) which will now allow the aforementioned 4 or 5 neighbourhoods to return peace to their streets by back filling them with community engaging programs instead of infiltration by other opportunistic group(s).
