Kinda late, but it's said that if you give ghosts and such attention, they grow in power. The best way to combat these kinds of things, is to get used to it. If no response/very little response or aura is given to the ghost, then it will just leave you alone, as it gets nothing from messing with you, and will slowly return to its weakest state, which will probably make it just do its normal scratches at a less frequency and stuff. My gf has a ghost in her house, and this is what they do

In the babysitting one, I think Timothy can be blamed for Max’s death. Hear me out, he said the dog bit him to death and it was his dog. He could told the dog to kill max. Later in the story Charles says “I want revenge for baby max”. Timothy knows he could blame Charles for the death because Charles is mentally ill. Which is what caused Charles to kill Timothy. Timothy killed max and either made Charles mentally ill or made his mad to the point of murder.

These are actually scary, here’s a true story from me a horror one, my step mom is haunted and I was downstairs by myself. Only me every night I was downstairs i saw a clown in the mirror even though my siblings don’t have a clown toy, once I felt tickling on my neck then someone whispered, ‘upstairs’ in a stuttering voice. I ran upstairs and told my step mom and step dad. She told me about this clown she say at the carnival who she was attached to. It was there until she couldn’t find it ever again. She was haunted by it. The clown wasn’t ever actually there it was her mind and she created a demon that would follow her and her family members. I’m use to it now it’s not harmful it doesn’t do anything it’s actually really nice! He comforted me and hugged me when i was scared.

i feel like some of these creepy people watch through these videos, thinking and planning out things. watching how other things have gone on and strategizing and figuring how they can go without getting caught watching things like these will make them better and more educated on the victims and strategy. i’ve thought about this for the longest time. or what if you have another person in your room listening and choosing which one they wanna recreate. slowly starting to do the act with you knowing what’s about to happen. just a thought. :)
