I really wish they fixed the vr6 sounds because the mk3 golf vr6 and the mk4 golf r32 are cars I love to drive but they literally sound like an aggressive raspy vacuum in the game

I have to say that nothing they have done with the game so far made me want to come back. I ended up uninstalling the game for good after the last DLC. Something about the game felt off from the start. Even a few updates can't change that. I will definitely not pre-order the next Horizon.

FH5, sadly, still is not Firing on all Cylinders, but it *is* Firing! It is no longer dead on its wheels! Torben Ellert taking over may just be the thing to save Forza Horizon! Sadly, I think FH5 is never going to be anywhere near a great Game, the core Game, due to it's Terrible Map, *Inexplicable* location choice (why Mexico? It should have been Spain! That is "Spainfully" obvious 😜) and the limitations of it's downright Antediluvian Forzatech M Game Engine, it is just too weak and compromised at its Core, but it is starting to become a "good" Game. These past few updates, which have marked the Start of the Torben Ellert Era, have actually given me something I never thought I would have during the height of the Mike Brown Malaise, when Horizon really was near dead! And that is hope, hope that FH6 could be a return to Form for the Series, and a great Game! We can but hope!

There's nothing wrong with having Mexico as a location. It's environmentally diverse and has car culture (although I wish that aspect was explored more).

@@AppleSlipper I am afraid that, given the Map was created in collaboration with the Government of Mexico, and yet is just so flat and dead and brown and barren and desolate and overgrown and Ancient (and riven with unacceptable depictions of Idolatry) , and rusting and crumbling, all to the point that it feels utterly abandoned! Leaving it thoroughly Depressing, I am personally unable to Fathom why Mexico was chosen. You see, the thing is, the Closest I have ever gotten to "abroad" is a day in the Channel Islands (which I did not enjoy! I enjoyed the "splash cat" super-ferry Ride though!) as a Boy, so for me personally, Mexico, being so different to the European (as in the Continent) Landscape and Culture I know, may just as well be Mars! , So I can only go on how it is Portrayed in the Game, which is, well, described as above. So please, if you would be so kind, enlighten me on how perhaps Mexico *should* have been Portrayed to make it more of an exciting, vibrant location, that would have better advertised the real Country, and made it more suited as a Horizon Location, as well as more suited to a PEGI 3 Rating, I would be very grateful thank you :)

@@AppleSlipper What I mean by Ancient is not the aincient structures, but the setting feels Aincient, like the whole country is stuck in another time in the Past! For Example, Guanajuato feels stuck in 1963, Mulege feels stuck in 1897, and even the most modern area with the Hotels and the Golf Club and the Posh Houses feels stuck in 1985! By Aincient I mean the Game setting just does not feel like it is 2021, the Environment feels stuck in 1967 for the most part! Like everyone just upped and left back in the late 60's and left it all to Rot! It feels like driving through an Episode of "Abandoned Engineering" , but nowhere near as Fascinating... Yes FH2 was full of old Medieval, Renaissance and Victorian Buildings , but it still felt alive, modern, it felt like it was still 2014, same with FH4, full of really Historic buildings, some going back to Tudor Times, or, like Stonehenge, even back to the Days of Noah! , yet it still felt modern and alive, like the UK in 2018! Mexico? That Feels like it has been Abandoned since 1967! That is what I mean by Aincient, it feels old, and dead, and lost to time, forever stuck in 1967... and it is Miserable! You ever seen some of the Old Soviet Countries like Moldova and how Everything looks like a set From Season 3 of the Original "Mission:Impossible" ? Like Time somehow just stopped sometime in 1969? That is how FH5's Setting feels, Ancient! *stuck in the past!* I hope that Helps to Explain what I mean.

I LOVE the new maps in Rally Adventure. They make for much better racing. In the mainland, all you need is a power build and just hold the accelerator on full. YAWN! The new maps actually require braking, turning, and good driving (imagine that!). The racing is closer, more position swapping, and more variety. The only problem is no one is in the lobbies. I race B-Class Dirt, and I can't get a race. I was so excited about the new expansion, but I hear only crickets. Those of you who agree with me, please fill up those B-Class Dirt event lobbies!!!

The rally expansion is an incredible map. As someone who doesn’t find going flat out everywhere particularly fun, I find it so much more enjoyable. The scenery, elevation and those insane driving roads are hard to get bored of. I can’t remember the last time I drove on the main map.
