Fun idea for the Skyrim Space Program glitch. They should add a set of armor that vaguely resembles a space suit (think iron helm with an obsidian visor, that sort of thing) and add an achievement/trophy (hidden or not) where you have to get launched into the air while wearing the entire set. Bonus, a second achievement/trophy where you have to do it 5 times, maybe called "Skyrim's the Limit".

In relations to the Skyrim Space Program, boost up the Shield Charge ability and add the Slow-Mo affect when enemies critically strike. Take a Sabercat for instance. When they pounce at you, it's always considered a critical strike. So, hold up your shield, and when time slows down from their pounce, charge at them and you'll punt that putty tat like you're making a 10,000 yard field goal attempt, and the kick will most definitely be good, at least in a satisfying manner.

Fallout 4 had an update a few years back that inadvertently added some visual glitches. Most memorably, it made the mirelurk creatures have the kind of rainbow-y glimmer you see in patches of oily water. It made them look quite trippy. Alas, it was soon patched out of the game.

I think part of why the Skyrim Space Program is enjoyable is because it technically doesn't effect gameplay. Pretty sure it only happens on a killing blow, so the ragdoll physics that happens afterwards are largely irrelevant (unless it was an NPC who got killed and you'd wanted to loot them). I've seen people joke that it's the inciting incident for Starfield and how you get into space.

The Mew Glitch was popular in pokemon red/blue/yellow. You can use teleport/fly before getting spotted by the trainer near Nugget bridge, battle the trainer with the Slowpoke then as you go into Nugget bridge, you will encounter a Mew you can catch. You can also use the same glitch to encounter pokemon you wouldn't normally encounter in the base game depending on the special stat of the last pokemon you battled.

You guys NEED to do a follow up video - for instance: the original version of Burnout Paradise for X360 had an amazing glitch where if you boost off a ramp and activate crash time at the apex of the ramp, it catapults the car for miles! In fable (not in re-releases) if your summoned kills a bandit from twin blades camp, the summoned becomes a bandit if it hasn't already killed something stronger. If you then save the game having summoned a camp bandit a real camp bandit will be in it's place. This can be done repeatedly. Theses bandits will assist you against all non bandits. Fable is pretty easy after the prison if you play wisely, but having a horde of bandits kill the white balverine is pretty fun.

Gotta say, while not game breaking back in the day, the cloning glitch in pokemon emerald is still awesome to use today. I bought a copy of sapphire that had a wishmaker jirachi from the colosseum demo disc, traded it to emerald and cloned the hell out of it. Now i can transfer em up to home and get trades for mons i dont have since its pretty rare. So oddly, its more game breaking now for more current games than it was in its original game

I used the wheelie glitch on GT3 back in the day with the Suzuki Escudo Pike's Peak version and got it to go over 1400 mph. Fun times watching the replay.

@@sadowolf I used the test track and went the wrong way. Held it in 3rd gear to keep it from doing the wheelie around the curve. As soon as I hit the straightaway I let it shift freely. That gives enough room to get to 1400+ mph.

My favorite is one I like to call the den fly glitch in Wildcraft (mobile game by Turbo Rocket Games, but before you ask they do actually care for the game and fix bugs when they can). When the lion animal and savanna map first released, it became very apparent that people needed a way to teleport to their dens (the maps for the game were getting very large by this point so it was only right). Thing is, people quickly found that if you jumped and pressed the den teleport button while still in the upward part of the arc, you just start levitating upward and can from that point on cancel the teleport and keep flying. You come back down by switching to a skin of a different rarity, and you just fall back down, meaning you can descend upon someone like a meteor hurtling towards the earth. It was eventually patched about a month after, but it was fun while it lasted. I even left a review giving my general thoughts on the game in the app store (which was very positive), and mentioned the glitch as an "even the glitches are fun most of the time!" note.

What about the Weapon Pad Glitch/Bug from Halo 5 Guardians? In Forge mode, you can mess around with the settings of weapon spawn pads and spawn in weapons with the weapon attributes of other weapons. With it, you can create all sorts of crazy weapon combinations. Assault Rifles with Needler rounds, Gun Turrets with Fuel Rod Cannon rounds, Shotguns that fire bursts of Hydra rockets...heck you can even add suppressors or burst fire capabilities to weapons that don't normally have them. You can make Snipers and Shotguns that fire in 3-round bursts like a Battle Rifle. Players were having soo much fun coming up with all sorts of crazy weapon combos and making entire game modes centered around using them that 343 said they would never patch or fix this little bug because players were simply having way too much fun with the feature.

Thief: The Dark Project/Thief Gold - Brush/NPC jumping. If you bump into certain textures or NPCs while leaning forward, you will be propelled backwards and up into the air. While it's unpredictable, this can be used to get to otherwise unreachable areas. For example, in the starting room of the training level, there are upper floors that are normally unreachable, but by bumping into a particular brush in the doorway, you can get enough height to make it to at least the lower of these floors. I never made it to the top floor, but it might be possible. In another training room, there are raised alcoves on each side of the room and if you bump into the lone NPC while leaning forward, there's about a 29% chance that you'll end up in one of the alcoves. Thief II: The Metal Age - Flare levitation. If you have multiple, exact copies of an item, like flares or keys, it's possible to use them to levitate. Look straight up, drop one of the items and it will get stuck in your body. Jump and you will get stuck on the item mid-jump. Look straight up again, drop a second copy of the item, then look down and pick up the first one, then jump again. Keep repeating and you can raise yourself to any height. However it is VERY easy to fall if you don't do it perfectly. Some people have theorized that it may be possible to move forward in very small increments, but to be honest, I've been out of touch with the Thief community for so long, I don't know if anyone ever mastered that.

Oh man, I remember some great glitches, but they're mostly from franchises, & I can't remember which number in a series they're from. There's a FIFA game where players faces melt & their legs tuck up & out, there's falling through the map in a car in LA Noir, there's a Fallout game where an NPC's head rotates like a bikewheel, there's a Dragon Age game where durring a cutscene a companion's head will rotate then pop off & fly at the player while increasing in size, there's a Witcher game where Geralt makes the Scream reaper face while his sword orbits his body, a GTA game where drinking too many vending macine sodas will crash your game & corrupt your save, Skate 3 in general, guards streatching their bodies into the stratosphere in ES Oblivion, a vintage indie war MMO with where a face texture replaced the skybox texture.

I remember playing the Creed boxing game with the VR headset and I got to a point where you get into a street fight with a bouncer. Everything is normal but when it switched scenes and you're in the fight the bouncer suddenly becomes two feet tall lol. I thought he was just a little person at first and the game was trying to be inclusive but looked it up and found out that wasn't supposed to happen lol. It was pretty amazing though and I definitely didn't hate it.

That 900 mph glitch in tourismo...welp,i did that in NFSU2 with a trainer (yeah cheats,got a problem? :) ). The trainer that i found then (and i believe i have that trainer saved in a cd somewhere) could increase the speed of the car from 200 mph up to 999 mph. XD I am not joking and it didn't stop there,it also gave you the ability for the engine not to go kamboom, infinite nitro, super brakes, jump ability (if i remember correctly). In any case, whenever i used the 999 mph speed alongside the infinite nitro my car at the end of the race couldn't stop (yeah,i know i should have used the super brakes,but to tell you the truth i wanted to see how much race truck there was after the end of the race). I used this mainly on drag races,the rest it was helping but not when there were curves and turns. Ohh,and by the way,i always played NFSU2 against my computer. I never used and never will use cheats/trainers/hacks when other real life people are involved. I refuse to use cheats/hacks/trainers in this manner,because not only i "destroy" my game or fun,but i "destroy" other peoples' fun and good times too.

Oh, and another glitch I found was in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azhkban game. You had 90s to rescue Serius Black from the Tower. I found that if you kept pausing it, save it and resume, it would give you extra time. I added 2hs to my time. It was just enoouh time to get theere before the time ran out

In addition to the Skyrim space program, there's another Skyrim "air line" that doesn't get as much attention - ride a horse onto a wood pile behind a sawmill right as the cut log is dropping into the pile, then kill the horse with the console so you ragdoll on top of the cut log, and when the log despawns, it will launch you into the air. It's not as powerful as the giant's attack, but it's a good shortcut/time saver from Riverwood to Whiterun over the mountains.

The Oblivion item duplication glitch. You drop things after selecting a stack of scrolls and it duplicates the item. This was pretty much essential to my childhood. That or the floating paintbrush glitch.

People used glitches? I just used console commands, tcl would get you anywhere and player.additem could add just about anything. Then for god mode and infinite carry you had tgm. Or if you just didn't like carry capacity with player.modav, though I am not sure if oblivion had carryweigth as variable or you had to boos strength, it was long time since Oblivion and a lot of Skyrim in between. :-D But I had really long list of commands and even longer list of item codes and stuff. And obviously, I played it on PC. All that also became quite useful for fixing quest NPCs too. Not sure if changing quest state was already in oblivion, but quite often killing and resurrecting NPC through console reset them to right state, if memory serves.

The long since patched gate and door launch glitches in GTA V/Online made the swingset glitch of GTA IV look like nothing by comparison. I have a 10 million mph launch in a Rhino tank thanks to the lifeguard station door glitch that's probably still one of the highest recorded speeds of a land vehicle in the games records. The tank was up so high it was in "space" online and it took forever to come back down. The game world even had a curvature to it at that height to signify it was up in space.

Every time I see this (or a similar topic) get made into a list, I eagerly await the mention of the Pause Glitch from NES game Master Blaster, where if you pause the game JUST as your grenade explodes while fighting Crabullus, Fred, Frozen Crabullus, and Enhanced Fred, and then just wait (take a nap, go watch The Wizard starring Fred Savage, play with your Hypercolor shirt, chat with your friends in a BBS or AIM). When you unpaused it, they were...unalived. Just make sure YOU weren't in range of the blast, or you'd join them.

Even when every major volcano is on the brink of eruption, they're still busy at work cleaning whatever comes by.
