Look at all the fake Japanese people. It's really disappointing to see people who copy another culture that isn't their own. And I say sorry to the three of you IF you're really Japanese
Yo guys I got the manga so here's the story. This guy called Burlet made insanely good plays, so much so he founded his own company. He eventually left the company to let the remaining members (Meiko, Kaito, Rin, Len, and Luka) do their own thing and proceeded to live a quiet life known as Gakupo (or Gack, not sure why they changed his name). However, the Burlet Company started running out of money; they weren't getting enough patrons since those pesky movies were invented. So Gakupo decides to rejoin the company as a regular actor. Coincidentally, Gumi/Meg (an even dumber name change) joins at the same time, with a self-written script as a testament to her skill. But even with the new actors, money's running out. In a last ditch effort, Kaito decides to revise Gumi's script and pass it off as Burlet's long-lost play, "Crazy Night." This would normally be sacrilege on Burlet's name, but since it's for the company's legacy, Gakupo agrees. But that's still not enough publicity, so they hold auditions for the lead role: the Villager. They end up casting Miku, a girl from Burlet's village and also his descendant (yes, this means Gakupo and Miku are related in this universe). News finally starts spreading, and now Gakupo realizes that if the group succeeds with their scheme, they (and by extension the company) might be corrupted further. He also realizes that Miku doesn't know that the play is a forgery. He writes a letter that will make Miku confront the others. There's a huge audience on the opening night. Unfortunately, Miku accidentally breaks the clock while performing. After the show, she tries to go back and fix it but fails. She then finds Gakupo's letter and, as expected, goes to confront the others, demanding that they come clean and make a public confession. They get in a huge fight, culminating in Miku tumbling down some stairs to her death. But just before she died, Gakupo used some magic (which is never explained) to stop time and send everyone to the alternate world of Crazy Night. In the form of a book (keeping his identity secret in the process), he gives the gang a choice: write the epilogue to return to reality and accept Miku's death, or repeat the same night on loop in hopes of slowly altering reality until Miku doesn't die. They choose the latter option. Everyone quickly realizes that they'll have to create a scenario in which they can repeatedly save Miku's life. Rin suggests acting like they really are Crazy Night's characters and Luka rips out the page detailing Miku's death, simultaneously erasing Miku's memory of dying and making a "look for the missing page" scenario. And so they start the loops. Initially, everything goes as planned, but everyone gets tired of it eventually. Bored, Len reveals the time loop part of the story to Miku. This starts a chain reaction leading to Miku overhearing a snippet of an OOC conversation. Since it was literally a snippet, Miku mistakenly believes that there was a leading actress before her and that the others are repeatedly killing her to bring the actress back. She tries to kill everybody with the clock hands, doesn't quite succeed, and flees to the basement. She discovers that the minute hand is the key to the coffin containing the real her's body as well as the missing page. Upon discovering the page, she remembers dying and all that. Realizing that she was the original all along, she takes the letter out of her pocket. She slits her wrist and writes the epilogue (which includes a fire starting in the kitchen) in her own blood. To make sure the loop ends, she kills herself. The rest of the gang busts through the door, grab Miku, and flee the burning mansion. Outside, Gakupo reveals his identity and scheme to Len. Not that it matters. Upon returning to the real world, Miku's death has been successfully prevented and no one has any clear memories of the loops. Gakupo leaves the company again and the gang makes their public confession, which actually helps them in the end. THE END

This series is SO hard to understand, thank you so much for this!
ahh it was heartbreaking to see the other members of the cast cry, even though Miku killing herself was the only way out. I guess they really did see her as a friend.
