Your videos have been instrumental in me deciding to get all the supplies and get into jewelry. I lost work in 2020 and have not gotten work for more than peanuts. Worst case, I am out 1,000 USD, but I am not afraid to take a chance. I have a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with experience in CAD, machining/manufacturing, metallurgy, design, graphic design, 3D art, food photography, and a few others. Functional knots got me into decorative knots and paracord, which led to chainmail. Chainmail led to an interest in metalsmithing, which I have already been researching for years for engineering prototyping. Now, I already have several jewelry designs that I am working to prototype. I have a half-made copper chain on a table and am planning to order the soldering equipment this week to finish a unique copper, ruby necklace. Nothing I could make until now has had enough value to sell, but precious metals opens the door for making profitable pieces. Thank you!

Hi Megan, lovely to hear you express your tips and tricks with starting a jewelry biz. I am going to be starting a beginning jewelry class this May after having visions of working with silver and hand made pieces. I know how it goes with ignoring the call to create. I was a corporate wellness coach for 7 years, and it was so mentally draining. I am now ready to step into creating a work lifestyle that I like and that fills me up with energy, and trusting my intuition around it being working with my hands and jewelry!

Megan, can you tell us all about your experiences (good and bad) with your consignment accounts? You have referred to "restocking your accounts ", can you please elaborate on that process? Also, your tips and guidance in navigating successful consignment contracts/agreements, etc. would be right up your alley, I think and very well received. This would be invaluable help and you have the bones of experience! Thanks for always excellent and helpful videos.

Hello Megan, I am overjoyed to have discovered your fantastic videos. I am so eager to begin learning silversmithing/jewellery courses ASAP, but it must be online course for me. Could you please advise me on this and tell me how I can contact you directly? Much appreciated
