There’s nothing about this truck that’s better than the older 5.7 v8 Toyota went backwards

Except the frame, suspension, bed, acceleration, safety, mpg, camera, screen, handling, ride comfort, payload, tow capacity.

I own a platinum but I would agree that the Sr5 or the limited with a nice discount is the best value for this truck.

The Carista app will remove the annoying fake engine noise. That was the first thing I did after driving it home.

Visibility should be better. Inside rearview mirror sits too low. Outside mirrors sit too high. Raise the inside 1-2 inches and lower outside mirrors 1-2 inches.

When they have to engineer in noise to fake you out about the motor, they know it is the wrong motor.

As a Toyota salesperson I agree with many of your points, and would add that some of those things are due to reliability concerns, especially with the weakest link being the auto 4wd. One thing I find interesting, is the lack of adjustable headlight height controls found standard on the Tundra since 2010. Why the domestics haven’t adopted that is mind boggling every time I see one towing and getting their headlights in my eyes. 🙈
@pinecone76Ай бұрын
You're selling those and do not know about the fact that 'standard' headlights on Tundras DO come with manual headlight leveling dial? The premium LED headlights (optional on Limited; standard on higher trims) have an auto leveling system; hence no dial present in the cabin.

@@ToyotaChrisWI You said: "One thing I find interesting, is the lack of adjustable headlight height controls found standard on the Tundra since 2010." If your comment was about this particular trim, it is correct - it's 'missing' because it comes with premium self-adjustable LED headlights. All lower trims that come 'standard' with 'regular' LED lights DO HAVE that adjustable headlight height control.
@ToyotaChrisWIАй бұрын
@ yes premium on 22 - 25 is an option on Limited models, and standard on higher trims. I was pointing out it wasn’t available on any domestics, none, nada, zip!

@@pinecone76i thought the same thing as his comment. Then again im never shocked at the lack of knowledge sales has. I just got my trd pro and they were unaware of some options.

It’s not Toyota or Ford’s fault. It’s the stupid emissions garbage from EPA. Trust me, Toyota did NOT want to do this turbocharging stuff. If they don’t, then they are charged huge fines for each truck
