worst remake for me is Chaudhary which is originally sung by mame khan.. literally my mom watching balika vadhu and i was just watching for chaudhary song. at that time i was a kid, so i thought that it was originally written for balika vadhu but i was wrong , it was folk music of rajasthan. as i spend 1 yr at rajasthan i literally felt in love with rajasthani culture , their tradition and folk music. at that time i remembered the song chaudhary which was sung by mame khan, so i decided to listen but at that time i listen t series song chaudhary by jubin nautiyal and yohani( manika mange hite wali ladki ). i dont know why jubin nautiyal a great voice doing such non sense remake. he has literally too much potential to gain respect at level of arijit singh at this time but he is busy in doing nonsense remake of t series. and i dont know these rubbish dont understand exceptional hit koi bhi chali jati hai. btw she is great singer in their own language. but she is just a trash in hindi music. i dont know why t series didnt understand . everone is not vishal and shekhar jo ki african legend Akon se hindi song gawa ke hit album dedenge.. everyone is not like akon joki hindi singing acha se perfectly krle..

The song remix and remake trend goes way back in America where DJs and music composers took samples of Soul genre songs to create rap and hip hop songs and R&B genre songs to create house music tracks in 80s and 90s. And Pasoori remake was just a promotional tactic for the people to see the movie in the theater but thankfully the song is not there in the final cut.

I think "Dotara" song which is sung by Jubin & Payal should be in the list. It's really caught the Bengali's attention but when It's about quality it's not close compare to the original one, Including "Genda Phool". Though it was a massive hit. They even didn’t give the credit to the original creators. Remaking traditional songs is not such a good idea. They just use Bengali people’s emotions to gain audience. That's what i think. It's my personal opinion. Your opinion could be far different from me, which is completely healthy.
