Wow this is so beautiful!! I’m 75 and about to be a great grandma!! I’ve only been into card crafting for a year. I live in a Senior facility and made cards for them!! My first year here! Well now looking at all of these albums and journals I think I should Expand my mind some and try doing this for my granddaughter! I don’t think it’ll be that big but I’m going to Try !! I always do the hinge a 1/4 in shorter than my pages so that they slide in easier.

Love your work and your videos! What cardstock do you use for the base of your pages and pullouts as they get a lot of action in opening and closing. Some brands become very weak and you want the albums to last years!

Thank u. I used Michael’s 65lb weight for most of it. For the large photo mats I used 80lb and on some of the top flaps I used 80lb so it was more durable.

Absolutely gorgeous xx can i ask what is the amount of gusset you leave between each page? Hope that makes sense xx iv made a baby album but my spine was like 3.5" there was a lot of interaction but i like how compact you have made yours xxx

I usually do a 3/8 in gusset but on these I did 1/2in. I try not to do more than a 2in spine on my books because I like them more compact too. But there are times that I get a little carried away lol. Thanks for watching so glad that u enjoyed it

I love this album! Making it today. I just have one quick question, what are your page sizes: 7 3/4 x 7 3/4? *3 signatures w/ 1/2” gusset, correct? I also have this same exact paper and will be mimicking the WHOLE thing.

Pages are 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 most of the flaps are 5 x 71/2 or 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 then you score @ 1/2 to adhere flap down. Yes to 1/2” gusset 😉
