This right here is what a father is all about. He allows his kid to have space in order for him to grow with the sport and the love that comes with it with out pushing too hard till it becomes detrimental. The structure of workouts, still keeping education a priority, and not allowing social media/outside factors to impact his growth is fantastic. This kid will go far with or without football but I still hope to one day see him in the league.

saw this on TV awhile ago and thus is amazing. love how his dad is working him, but in a smart way. not just screaming and running his kid ragged. mad props to you dad, keep it up.the world needs more male role models like you! love how you also filter what he sees online. too many kids seeing terrible things they should never see at such a young age. I have so much respect for you as a person and as a dad. as for Jalen, I can't think of the words to describe him. everything I think of to say about him is an injustice to how great he really is. keep it up jalen, all that hard work and dicipline definitely gonna pay off. you're something special kid. even if the football thing doesn't work out, which I know it will, you're always going to have morales, values, and work ethic that will be second to none.

People saying that he isn't being a normal kid and stuff, saying this should stop, remember not all kids have fun the same way. Maybe he likes training, getting active is fun and that's something that's really important at a young age.

Great job pops.... One suggestion... Dont pigeonhole the kid into football... let him play basketball for balance and body control.... let him play baseball for hand eye coordination.... Multiple sports athletes are better suited to succeed than those that focus on one single sport

Jaylen, boy your are the best at what you do. Dad thank you for instilling value in your son's life, & it all started w/ your father. God is so good, & I think him daily for allowing me to see footage of the youth doing so well in life, in spite of obsticals that surround them daily outside of the confinement of home. Having a hands on dad produce good results. Keep pushing Jaylen, study hard & give God all the glory. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. You have great leaders of men to look up to, & it starts with God, your dad, & grandfather. Much success to you youngman, stay positive, do well in school, & honor your parents. You got this, & I look forward to reading more great things about you. Much love & respect to you & the awesome work of 3 strong generations of men. Thank you w/ tears of joy for you & your family.

Hidden Life I don’t blame him. Sure his dad is preparing him well for life, but psychologically it’s going to be difficult. W/ over 100,000K followers on IG, magazine covers at early age, kids his age are going to expect a lot from him every time. I played football for the longest and I’ve seen the pressures kids get when they aren’t making those “plays” when they go above and beyond in training. The only reasonable thing to do at that age is block out everything and everyone to avoid disappointment
