I dont understand why anyone could say a bad thing about kids like this. I have been playing the guitar for about 25 years and had tears in my eyes after watching this. it is truly awe inspiring. I wish I could play like him! you should really think about who you are as a person. just get off the internet you are clogging it up!

Who is this young man? Unbelievable. 11 years old? unreal. I get sick thinking about how good this kid is and how I will never be as good as he is ever. But I'm glad there are people like him out there so we can have great music to look forward too.

Spot on and amazing. I disagree with the fellow on here that says this kid will be in a crappy metal band for 5 years and then quit music. IMO the more likely scenario is that he will get bored with rock/shred guitar and focus his efforts towards becoming one of the best jazz or classical guitarists ever. Either that or he'll encounter the resources to become a rock star. Either way, at bare minimum, I think this kid will have a sense of self-fulfillment in his future.

haha you're hilarious. I don't know any other guitarists personally that have achieved this kid's technical abilities in 4-5 years. He's truly a phenomenon. And yes everyone is aware of Mozart's compositional skills as a young child, but he was also one of the greatest musical minds in history. How do you know he is not a great composer anyway? He is going to post videos on youtube of songs that everyone knows to get more views. I'm sure this kid has some great musical ideas

oh, but did you know that when mozart first started out, he was thought by Haydn? and many of his first compositions had alot of characteristcs that were similar to haydns writing. only later then did he move out into his style of writing, so for this kid here, its natural to copy someone else's work, and later on compose his own style of music.

@WildKoolAid13 I c where youre coming from.I was more getting at the idea that usually when some1 is able to play a certain song/genre of music, they learn the technique, scales, musicianship, ornamentation, etc of that song/genre(Usually being the key word).Composing is truly a whole different area from just performing, though. The musician who learns these key elements to music will generally have a better chance at composing, knowing the "roots"n all.Although he could have just read tablature.hah.

what im saying is, the kid is just 11 years old and he can PLAY. why you have to question whether he can compose or not? cos that will surely come when hes older and has more understanding of music.

To point out the obvious; this is an 11 year old virtuoso, not an "8 year old" "(this time-11)". Isn't it impressive enough (he is amazing, after all) without misleading people about how young he is in hopes of getting more clicks from silly people who are more focused on his age than his music?

Hm... It takes about 4-5 actually to get that good. You'd be surprised how good people can get when they're not dedicated. I have a great example here. My bassist can play eight note triplets at the speed of 230 BPM easily. *Going on the G string hitting frets 4-5-7 and then 7-5-4 after you've completed a measure* He's been playing for only 1 year (And mind you he is walking on the bass). He had two years of guitar experience before that. He can in fact play all but the most difficult PG solos.

Thank for proving my point stated in my last comment. Instead of attacking my argument, you attack my skill as a player. If you can meet my challenge and show me music he's composed, then I will concede my argument. Until then, flaming will be loled at.
