I love Kellogg's raison squares, the Cheese glorious Cheese commercial, and the A1 steak sauce commercials. These 3 are my favorite! The most catchy jingle is the Kellogg's raisin squares. And the guy talking during the steak sauce commercial looks exactly like that talented pizza chef.

0:00--I loved those Raisin Squares! Wish Kellogg's would bring them back. The jingle is pretty catchy too. 1:00--I love the "Cheese, glorious cheese" jingle, which is based on the song "Food, Glorious Food" from the musical Oliver (an adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel Oliver Twist). 1:35--I've never been one to put sauce on steak, but I always liked the way they called them "steak burgers" in the A1 commercials. 2:22--I haven't seen Mars bars (or the Snickers Almond version) in my area in ages, but I believe they are still available in limited markets.

I would watch The Equalizer Religiously on CBS. Even on a school night.

If you told me back in the 80's not only would there be a channel that has just commercials but that it would also be one of my favorite channels...I would have asked you what you hit your head on.

Space setting -- check -- space age interiors -- check -- funky clothes -- check -- raising platforms for products -- yes, this is an 80s "future" ad! National Pizza Week?! WTF? One year only! Ok I am officially creeped out by SoupAlien Another gallery of the hit (and miss) CBS series in the 80s.

A1 tastes very good on a medium-well hamburger...I heartily reccommend it

@fattoler And the funny part is that the "pizza week" stopped the day BEFORE the biggest day for pizza (the Super Bowl).

A-1's okay, but if you're eating a well-seasoned, properly cooked steak, you shouldn't need a sauce to put on it. The 80s were a weird time. Fat and cholesterol were considered taboo, yet there were cheese ads everywhere. Personally, I hate most cheeses so the cheese worship just makes me laugh.

Know what's funny? Just recently on TV they showed a product similar to K's Raisin Squares, but it's a new type of Frosted Mini-Wheats.

for the "Real" ad, how did that pitch go? "They're beautiful woman astronauts w/ BO!" the 80's had some serious love for the cheese Mars bars had a short time on the market. it was probly yanked for being too similar to Snickers was Patrick Duffy always in the shower in "Dallas" it looked like he was always wet & shirtless Keri lady's nightgown is a bit revealing, isn't it? it must've been cold in the studio where they show that commercial

A1 sauce is made with jalapeno, orange zest and raisins (and more stuff). It's actually pretty good but on steak, not on a hamburger lol

@thegreatersnake Probably an odd thing for people to read on someone else's channel. I think cheese may be useful to buy as well as we are out.
