I never get tired of seeing Superman movie end credits on ABC on this channel. Of course this was when networks spent millions of dollars for broadcast rights to big movies like this, and when they showed full ending credits with no rush to the next show!

I also love these old commercials like the Bad Dreams one where they interviewed people after a sneak preview screening, looking for sound bites. I remember seeing this once a long time ago, but don't remember anything standing out about it. It struck a chord with Roger Ebert, apparently, who gave the film Zero Stars out of 4 in his review, and spends most of the review going on about how sick and reprehensible the movie was. It seemed like a pretty standard 80s horror film to me, from what I remember.

My 2nd memory of being in the U.S [to visit my grandmother, my aunt and my cousin] going to Albertsons and seeing 3 huge exhaust fans on top of the chillers [where we bought 10 microwavable pasta dishes for me to eat during lunch at the daycare] The son wearing a crop top in the Surf commercial...'nuff said 🙃

This is how a lot of promos were edited back then and is probably not reflective of the actual tone of the episode. The show was a medical drama that focused specifically on women's issues.
