3:57 - The 30 minutes or less guarantee turned out to be a big mistake on Domino's part, as it led to a lot of traffic accidents with drivers trying to meet the guarantee deadline, and would drive like maniacs. Domino's eventually had to drop this promise in 1993, as it was just dangerous. Their guarantee is now about quality, rather than speed.

In addition to that, the whole "Avoid the Noid" campaign tied to that promise resulted in a schizophrenic man named Kenneth Noid holding hostages at a Domino's a year after these ad breaks were recorded because he thought the commercials were taunting him specifically. It must've sucked to work in marketing for Domino's at the time.

Who doesn't love food puppets, especially if they're a Big Mac & McDonald's fries 😁

Dentyne- Not only does it bite you back, but it has the power to make you smile afterwards, too. McDonald's- I wonder if those food puppets are related to the McDonald's Happy Meal Puppet characters. Duracell- The way they were talking about "Freshness Dating", it sounds like you could eat those batteries. Ore Ida Tater Tots- The girl and the puppy look so cute together like that.

@@dragonstarplanet When EPCOT "Center" (not meager "EPCOT" these days) had attractions that were fun AND educational, Disney/MGM Studios actually lived up to the "Studios" part, parks overall weren't trying to thrust properties into everything and the individual stores were unique in offerings, Disney Channel had genuinely-Original Shows/Movies..

Flight of the Navigator is one of the best underrated Disney movies from the 1980s since this came out after the success of E.T.

Kellogg's Raisin Squares-i don't remember if they made a frosted variety Growing Pains-said baby would later grow up to do the voice of a pivotal character in a popular series of Playstation games Three Men & Baby-arent you a little too old to be baby-sat..? Head Of The Class-Remake is supposedly still going to happen, and Robin Givens may be part of it Earth Star Voyager-too bad this didnt go to series,it couldve been Disney's answer to the Star Trek franchise Spenser: For Hire-Hawk was among the hostages..and was unarmed :(

When I first saw "Flight of the Navigator," I did not believe my sister when she told me that Howard Hessman (Dr. Johnny Fever from "WKRP in Cincinnati") was in that movie.
