This lioness totally agrees! I LOVE this song...how can you NOT?! Then, after the grit, at the end, there's that one sliding high note...F#5 flying off into the distance !!! I matched it on the virtual piano that I usually grab online. I actually thought it was higher than that, but then I was surprised, because...CARLO...I MATCHED IT!!! I didn't think I could, yet. I can go to G5, now, I just discovered! I USED to easily be able to hit and sustain C6 like it was NOTHING, before 2006, but...yeah...wow! I've not been able to get over G4, until I MADE that come out, to match Dan! So...THANK YOU EXTRA MUCH for doing this great reaction! 😀 The REALLY fun thing, is that DAN hit that note!!! Oh, my word! Still...he DID hit that now-very famous E6 on "My Heart Will Go On" with the same kind of slide, as Garrett climbed up there on the guitar in the background. My grandson Isaiah hit THAT note! and held it even longer than Dan did, as we were all singing along with THAT song. He'll be turning 16 on June 6, though, and he's already starting to crack on the REALLY high notes, I've noticed. I think I'm gonna have to get all the kids to sing THIS one, now! Thanks VERY MUCH. He is smart and can be very proud of himself. In the music business in particular, it is not easy to make it big without middlemen. He can now live off his music and we benefit from his brilliant singing. For the most part, he makes the songs better than the originals... And... As a result, the originals and the metal scene are gaining popularity again. To be sure, on the phone call! My husband VERY rarely answers when I call or text him, because he doesn't keep his phone on him all the time...OR...he's driving, with his phone in his pocket! What he usually does, is get home (usually about two hours later), park, and THEN look at at his phone...and answer me. I know better than to expect it to be otherwise, but you probably know the saying, "Hope springs eternal, in the human heart!" 😀

I believe that Dan makes all songs better and no, I haven't heard a bad one. I will second another comment below that you should react to both versions of Priscilla's Song from the Witcher series, but if only one, then the metal version. The video that shows Victor in it is his original "Harmonics," which he wrote while he was trying to perfect a different way to tune his guitar. 😀 It's FANTASTIC, plus the fact that you DO get to, sort of, see Victor's face. If you watch a few of the Swedish band Eleine's videos, you can see more of his face. Just watch carefully during the songs. He's the only one of the three guitarists who has long, STRAIGHT red-blonde hair. The other two have very dark, Viking locks. 😀

Belinda Carlisle did this song as a solo artist, but she was originally the lead singer of The Go-Go's. Happy, nostalgic memories of my tween/early teen (Gen X) years. Dan just took it to the next level like he usually does. I hesitated listening to this one at first because I just couldn't see it being done by Dan or as a rock song. Obviously, I didn't know Dan as well at that time & my goodness was I in for a surprise. He just never ceases to amaze.

I have very quickly come to realise that everything is sooooo much better when it is Vascinated and Victorised...😉 The late 70s and early 80s were my cut loose, party til ya drop, time has no meaning, days,,, before starting to somewhat settle down with kids and responsibilities and all that other adulting stuff... Knock off work on Friday arvo, go home quick shower, shove some food down the face and out the door... pick up the girls on the way to whichever party, club or pub we were going to that night and do again on Saturday night 😁 Life was about having fun with no worries about the future...it was ours to do with what we pleased and we did 😁😁 Every time I listen to Dan do one of these 80s bangers it brings back the memories of when we thought we knew it all and had it all,,, now I'm an old lady with grandkids coming up to the same age I was then and that scares the living shit outta me,,, and reminds me just how old I really am...🥴 🙃🐨🇦🇺
