I wouldn't agree less regarding the nice green scenery in Sarawak as well as any other place on earth. If we respect & love the nature, mother earth will give us paradise to live in. 5 foreigners from 3 You Tubers, having duck noodles in Mui Fah...simply amazing and fun !! The braised ducks looked yum, yum, yum 😋. A unique and lovely church...love the shape, looks like 3 white candles. Hahaha...an interesting race up to the church. Ken, Steve and Mike, you three were huffing and puffing when you got to the top of the stairs. Wow....205 stairs. Agree that the scenery there is very beautiful...lots of lush green. Yaya...just like Perlis but Perlis is the smallest state while Sarawak is the biggest state of Malaysia. Nice village airbnb...very spacious and comfy. Thanks for the house and room tour. Amazing drone footage and thanks again for this wonderful video, Ken.

Hello Ken thank you for taking me through the memory lane. The place you guys had lunch is Sg.Tenggang. My family land was not far from there but was sold to government for the Pan Borneo Highway project. And the church that you visited Mount Hossana Church is one of sacred church. The story we heard was the church were built by one chinese guy who sent his sick wife to hospital in Kuching. He was in despair when doc said they cant do anything bout her and told them to go home. So he prayed at many diff temple and finally stop here at an empty land and too tired to drive. I think he had a dream that he was visited by an Angel. And the next thing we know the church was build. Also it is being said if you pray wholeheartedly your prayers will be answered, Amen. And yes Sarawakian are mostly christians. Looking forward to your new video. Enjoy your trips!! Prost!!! and yes am looking at your eyes :)

the hill you see on the opposite the lachau town and the hill behind the church is border with indonesia. in pre-covid times, dayaks from indonesia would sell their agriculture products in lachau then buy daily needs in lachau. the indonesians you met in border check point last time not from local/border area but trans-immigrant outside borneo

The duck noodle is completely different from West Malaysia. The duck noodle in West Malaysia is noodle in duck herbal soup, whereas the Sarawak version is dried noodles served with braised duck. We have similar braised duck in West Malaysia too, and it looks yummy. 👍👍👍

8:25 Yes, of course you would see more churches in Sarawak. The Dayaks of Sarawak are mostly Christians. In fact, roughly 2/3 of Christians in Malaysia reside in East Malaysia. 😄 9:15 Behind you is someone's land, I think... or part of the consolidated indigenous people's land which are planted with oil palm (the State's agency acted similar to a Trust and since native lands are categorised as only for agriculture, it is used to plant oil palm (earlier in the 80s, in some areas cocoa were planted but replaced with palm oil soon after)... participants receive a passive income in accordance to the size of their land leased to the agency, they can also work in the plantation as labourers or as the agency's staff). 10:05 That is some of Sri Aman's residential areas. It's not really a village. 😄 But people are pretty close knit and neighbours are usually friendly in small towns like Sri Aman and throughout Malaysia. Very nice house. 👍🏽 I say 5 stars to that. Note: Gamang means wasps in Iban language. Hope you guys managed to visit Fort Alice while in Sri Aman or see the waterfront where people who gather to watch the tidal bore. Batang Lupar (the river by Sri Aman) is one of the places to watch the tidal bore (second place is the Sadong River - Serian Division) in Malaysia. And among a few places in Asia where tidal bore occur.

2:51 Fun fact, to put an end to the communist terrorist movement since the 1960's, Sri Aman Operation, a peace movement was formed by the Malaysian government in Sarawak. In 1973, the North Kalimantan Communist Party leader sent a letter to Sarawak chief minister at that time that his organization wanted to cease their insurgency activities against the Malaysia government and surrender. And peace treaty was signed in the town of Simanggang. To commemorate the event, the town(including the Division) was rename to Sri Aman after the Sri Aman Operation that lead to this event. And in 2019, the Division was renamed back to Simanggang due to the local people still preferred the old name, while the town name maintain as Sri Aman. 3:51 The is the new road going to be 2 lanes for both directions, so they just add the new road, which is the one yous were one, while the old one is on your left. Once the Pan Borneo highway project is complete, the 2-lanes road on the left will be the one for going up north, while the one you on will be going down south.
