Lovely ponds! I note you don’t often include a facility to purge on each nexus? Perhaps you can touch on it in another video - everyone goes on about them being essential online!

Nexus do a nice job of purging when you clean. We do add purges to some ponds

Hi, as well as the purge for the nexus that Tim mentions, I also have 4’’ purge from each line that is located outside of the filter house, this allows me to do a big purge if required, since been running purging when filling the nexus has been sufficient and I haven’t needed to purge using the 4’’ purge line, but can if required 😁

Just started to revamp my 6000 gallon pond to nexus filter and a skimmer watched many of your videos and never see anyone using netting for the heron which can land on deep water and feed like a duck are they removing them for video by the way great videos 👍

No, very few of our ponds are netted. Herons want an easy meal, deep ponds do put them off
