8051 Programming with USBASP - Barebones method

Uploading HEX file on to 89S52 , widely used IC in 8051 family , using USBASP programmer explained in this video.
89S52 is plugged on to bread board (BAREBONES Method) , a crystal , 2 nos 22pf disc , 0.1 disc , Reset switch and some jumper wires are used

I am facing a really weird issue... connecting the 22pf capacitors don't work and removing them lets the 89s52 to work. 89s52 seems to be stuck with the capacitors on...

Are you sure the caps are 22 pf ? If you are using a breadboard or strip board it will sometimes work without as you say. If the micro starts up then you are good. Check also the power supply.

if we use the readymade kit then it will cost nearly Rs. 800-1200 but this one costs only Rs.500-700 ,cost effective isn't it ? 😂
