you did theconversion for hex 10 to dec 10 and subtract it with 7 but 7 is hexadecimal.why didn't you do for hex19,hex18,hex15

Because 19H,18H,16H are already in hexadecimal and subtraction of 1,3,5 will give the same result. The result is different for 10H-7H only I elaborated that part only. You can check urself too.

This program won't perform for those cases. Only perfect squares number we can check
