The 400 used to take me from Ashton to Manchester Airport. Plane and bus spotting geek…..👏👏😘😘

I used to ride on the 554 bus ! It ran from Eccles to Bolton via Peel Green, Worsley, Walkden and Farnworth.

Yep, there's lots of Leylands preserved in the museum of transport!

@@glitchFan2428 Not many 70s-90s Leylands in Australia. Mostly ones before this period but very well preserved and displayed in Sydney.

I remember seeing the 96 bus in Longsight. Used to run from East Didsbury, to Piccadilly, then onto Whitefield. You don’t really see cross town buses anymore, which makes no sense, as I am sure it's cheaper and more environmentally to have a route run by one services, instead of two separate services? Lets hope the Bee Network brings them back.

Glad that the video brings back memories! So far the only notable longer distance been network routes I can think of are the 100 to Warrington and 184 to Halifax
