probably an AE plugin. too much digital blockiness, constant activity, sync loss but no capture artifacts, etc for real analog video devices

The digital blockiness could come from a mixer used for it's time base correction before going to a capture card, the WJ-AVE5 does somehting really similar when the signal doesn't have a proper sync, like partial freeze of the image (around 1:04), and even without proper TBC, my capture card does those kind of things when the video signal is too glitched to be displayed properly. There's a composite video simulator for Processing which I didn't tried yet, maybe it's what he used!

You could be right, but I would expect to see a fair bit more freezing and digital artifacting from a confused capture card/TBC. Anyway, I still think there's too much movement, you would've had to spend the whole video frantically attacking your device to get that kind of thing.. it's not the most effective way to work nor the most obvious. It's classically overdone, exactly like what you see in AE plugins: see video DAV2H5je5qY for example and compare to say, BPMC or Tachyons+ example videos. I also don't think it's the Processing composite video simulator, seeing as I wrote the interface for that and it doesn't really have this kind of sync loss fx built in, nor automation (currently).

I remember this singer. Her name is Robyn Fenty and she was famous singer in the 1980s. Robyn had a lot of hit songs but she was well known for her song “This is what you came for!” in 1986 which became her biggest hit and her signature song. 30 years later, her daughter Robyn Fenty Jr covered the song with the collaboration of Calvin Harris and it became a hit again in 2016. Because she didn’t want anyone to know her famous mum, Robyn Jr adopted her middle “Rhianna” as her stage name. Rhianna was also Robyn Fenty Sr’s middle name as well!
