Cape Town South Africa 2006

I was back with my family on a holiday in Cape town over Christmas and New year. We absolutely loved it.The food was excellent. One day I drove inland to show my family the mountains by driving to Worcester. It was around 40C. I love the scenery.Cape Town was down in the 20s that day.We had beautiful fish in Campsbay's Codfather and also in Hout Bay's Mariner's Warf. I love the Cape!!!

South Africa, Cape Town is my homeland, I had to move to Canada. I really miss home but, thankfully I am going back end of September next year(Hopefully). What I do miss is the beach and the sun.

What a brilliant Video! Thanks Mate. Grew up in lakeside and Tokai I have not been home for more than 3 years (been out of SA since 2000) I dont go home for one reason, My heart finds it very hard to leave......... :) But my brain knows its best to be here. Time for another Klippies and coke... God I miss home :)

In Cape Town you can be driving around, looking at squatter camps and then 10 minutes later be looking at a luxury yacht.

cumcumcuma. Seriously jokes apart that Codfathers restaurant up behind the main road in Camps Bay was fantastic. Locals flooded in to the place. A nighbour in Dublin told me to go there. Hout Bay's Mariner's Warf is also amazing.

Why don't people just shut their mouthes, reflect about the past, let 80sAfrikan do his stuff and just realise the fact that Cape Town IS a place with great clefts both socially and economically. This video incorporates great South African musicians such as Miriam Makeba and Dollar Brand. I don't see any political shoutouts because of the "beware of Verwoerd song". Take it easy and enjoy the scenary. 80safrikan said it. Voetsek. :-)

Who the hell is Verwold ?? ha and what do you know about me ? the ANC ? or South Africa ?? cant you see the squatter camp in the`opening scene, mayby your white eyes are blind to this but to me it a fitting song... voetsek
