It's so wonderful that more 90s commercial history keeps popping up in my inbox. It takes me back to simpler times.

I love the inclusion of film trailers (even for lesser-known films!); it really helps to immerse me in the period and provide a lot of context.

Thanks for continuing to share many old commercials! Hard to believe that there are 25 volumes left before you reach 90s Commercials vol 400.

the only thing better than 90s commercials is a commercial for 80s music during 90s commercials

I don’t remember the last time I even saw Cinnaburst in stores…. but when I saw these commercials, the memories came flooding back!!!

Same here. I had forgotten about Cinnaburst (seemed like it was around for a few years and disappeared with no notice)

I loved MTV from around 1993-1996, mainly because I was watching Beavis and Butt-Head religiously during this time and I remember so many of these commercials here!

Wow, that diamond engagement ring commercial struck a long-gone memory. I remember that ad with all the violin music.

The Road to Wellville is absolutely hilarious! I still quote it to this day! Also, dang I miss Fruitopia! They were my favorite drinks back in the 90s. :(

I used to watch da hell out of that movie when comedy central showed it all the time. Matthew Broderick was so hot in it.

Most of these are newish to me. But I definitely remember that Eclipse car commercial, and that De Beers commercial too. I was 13 when these all aired.

Never chewed Cinnaburst gum, but it has a strong memory for me. The kid who had the locker next to me in HS chewed the gum constantly, and always had tons of the stuff in his locker, so the thing reeked of the smell of that gum. I'm sure I got off lucky, as there are much worst smells to come out of a High School student's locker. But still, it was overpowering, and I think it stayed in my nose for years afterward.

wild to see an 80s compilation only five years after they actually ended, lol. also cool to see more of that mtv alcatraz 'rock the rock' promo I think I saw another youtube channel do a video all about it, I'll have to look it up again later!

@@kapiteinfox3142 wow yeah I believe it, if they can do an 80s compilation five years after the 80s ended, anything's possible for them to cash in on, lol

There were compilations of 90s music released halfway through the decade: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmO4l4acoJhmY9k

5:07 - A commercial centered on 80s music nostalgia in a video about 90s TV nostalgia. We've entered a bizarre kind of worm hole here, folks...

??? PSA- From the looks of this PSA, I would say it was trying to convey messages involving the environment, such as littering, global warming, etc. A "Save The Planet Before it's Too Late " message, I would say. Fruitopia- That has got to be one of the most artistic looking commercials I've ever seen for something as simple as fruit juice.

The chime at the end also seems to be a reference to the Doomsday Clock.

9:59 - I can't tell if this is a commercial, or the CG intro to an early 32-Bit pool video game for the Sega Saturn or PlayStation...

I love this channel. There are so many videos to go through but not enough hours in the day. I wish I could've seen the Eagles Hell Freezes Over concert when it first aired (29 year old me is a fan) but I was 2 in 1994 and I don't even know if we had MTV at the time because nobody in my house watched it.

One would think if Bill Barry and Michael Stipe were such huge Led Zeppelin fans, they'd know that Whole Lotta Love, the riff they started doing, wasn't on LZ's debut album. It was on their second.

Yeah, not sure anybody in '94 was thinking the 80s were cool and nostalgic, especially not MTV viewers, lol.

These and Vol. 376 aired Saturday, 10/15/94. "Rock the Rock" aired on Monday, 10/17/94 at 9 PM. Vol. 376 has a promo for "Week in Rock" that night at 6 PM, the Saturday timeslot.

As cool and as 90s as these 90s ads were ALREADY there was an ad about going back to the 1980s! But now we know they were not wrong about it!

Eagles: Hell Freezes Over-it most certainly did.R.I.P Glenn Frey Drop Squad-could be considered as a prequel of sorts to Bamboozled MTV'S Rock The Rock-no appearances by Nic Cage or Sean Connery ??? PSA-playing pool helps save the enviroment..?🤷
