I love his profound understanding of the bible, his non-judgmental attitude of the other Christian Churches and his fair treatment of the church he abandoned. Most of the people who converted to Pentecostal denominations are known for their belittling attitude of the churches they once belonged. But I found Kflu's attitude of his ex-church fairly dignified and respectful. That's pretty much praiseworthy for me. However, I would want to ask him a couple of questions as regards to the rituals of healing and disturbing praying practices. How far do believe on the pastors who perform the healing rituals, like people falling to the ground with hand gestures, breathing and other stuff. Did Jesus practice those things when healing people? What is your take on the prophets who prophesy that doesn't really make sense? Don't you think that many Pentacostal churches have actually turned into business enterprises? Finally, which Pentecostal denomination do you associate yourself with? My experience has it for me that Pentacostal churches easily break up than unite on trivial issues. Aren't we strong when we unite? What is your take on this? Being a Catholic and thirst of Knowing, I would love briefings on my questions

@Okbaghebrielgebrtnsae.. I saw the old me in your questions and remarks, an honest observation on the church and thirst of God. Guess who else had the same observations.. Mahtema Gandi. He was once invited to a church and heard about Jesus. He was so touched. And after hearing the word of God there was tea time in the compound and with similar thirst he was joining the people scattered in groups hoping to hear more of the hero he just discovered only for him to find that this people were not loving towards each other and they definitely were not fully committed mirrors of Jesus. Then he went back disappointed saying your God sounded a true hero but I couldn't see how if he were real you would become what you are. God is telling you to put down your Mahtema Gandi glasses. He didn't know better but you do. Your spiritual eyes are open and you can see Jesus. You don't need to look at his folowers wearing blood and flesh. They are once saved and and with his grace they are in the process of sanctification but they will not be with out error until the day of the lord and they are glorified. But this I promise you even if their errors were double than they are He is the truth the way and the life. The God they worship sees the hearts intent and is also forgiving for those who repent and salvating for those who believe. And when his day comes he will give everybody what they deserve. For those who didn't confess him as well as for those who didn't believe in him. Find your place in his Kingdom brother, don't let people be stumbling stones on your way. Pray and read his word he doesn't leave him self without evidence he wants you to know him and be saved. He loves you. You are very worthy in his eyes he let his blood and flesh fall on the ground before he was in the ground for your and all ours forgiveness. Walk with him walk through his words he will definitely lead you home. learn his language his words and you will definitely hear him speaking. We need a congregation so we worship together help each other and edify each other but a congregation is the horizontal dimension of christianity which wouldn't exist without the vertical one. we give what we receive and we receive how much we ask.. the church definitely needs to be on its knees for more grace. And you definitely need to find him, the truth. God bless you abundantly.

I am grateful for your unstintingly generous information bro.... I appreciate that! I have many critical observations on the trending unruly Christian worship practices. I feel deeply sorry to tell you that today's Christians run after what they they call them phrophets... My million dollar question is do we really need phrophesy when Jesus has already given us all we need? If you believe we need, how do we know those prophesies are true? Most importantly, who and how is a person entitled for prophesy? I've been to a Pentagostal Church for a Sunday service in India one day. What I saw there disillusioned me. The congregation was breaking up from other constituent congregation after having been working in partnership for some years. That really made me uncomfortable.The person I went along attempted to explain the reason why they broke up. Honestly, I wasn't listening to him for I don't agree on the very idea of divorce.

Brother do you see the very thing we are doing now is what the congregation is for. It stands that the believers learn from each other grow together correct and edify each other to the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:13. And by that they will not only please their God but also honour him in the eyes of non believers that they see the one true God. But like stated before we humans are in a form that is prone to failure, so how can God hold us accountable for what for us impossible is. Unless he gives us grace, then Grace covers our shortcomings and we prevail. So I will try to answer your questions but with much fear and trembling because dear brother Jesus died so you are saved and I wouldn't want to be the reason you are not pulled to christ. So I pray that not me but the holy spirit through me speaks to you. You asked if we need prophets now this is a question not about the integrity of the followers but about his words and so God. A patient has the disease his Doctor says he has. And if his Doctor is the lord it's never questionable. If the lord says you're blind find yourself a stick then trust that you are. And instead of asking him if he is sure that you realy need a stick it would be very wise if you beg him for one. So if he says you need prophets, pastors, teachers... then you do. And yes Jesus has given us everything including the holy spirit and people who operate as prophets by the holyspirit. My belief if we need prophets counts nothing the word of God says we shouldn't despise prophecy and that makes the verdict. 1 Thessalonians 5:20 But we are also ordered to examine all and follow the good.1 Thessalonians 5:21 Although the way and means to examine prophecies you can find by learning and examining the Bible. From the little that I know you should examine the message, messenger and the sender or source. Check the message if 1. it goes with scripture 2. it goes with the great messianic plan of God( that is to edify the body of Christ that is us) 3. it glorifies Christ 4. after some time you see it happening. You can examine the messenger if 1. he is a born again believer 2. his life honors God and he shows fruits of the holy spirit 3. he is in a congregation where others can examine him and his prophecies You can examine the source of the message or the sender of the message if 1. it is the holy spirit and not other spirits( Any spirit that doesn't confess that Christ the son of God was revealed in flesh is not the Holyspirit 2. Any spirit that doesn't bare love is not the Holyspirit 3. Any spirit that curses Christ is not the Holyspirit 4. Any spirit that confesses that Jesus is the lord is definitely the Holyspirit. It would be better if people who have better knowledge about that explain it to you but most importantly you should read your bible and pray that the holyspirit teaches you. A person is ordained a prophet first by the call.The one who wants to hire him that is God is the one who calls and anoints him. How does God do that in the many ways God speaks to his prior servants who already have learned to hear from him, may be by dreams, revelations, or also prophecies. God gives the amount and type of grace as his will. Therefore he calls whomever he wants to be a prophet to prophecy. About the church you visited and your experiences I can only plead you to look for Christ and join the church which has the Doctrine best showing Christ. About Divorce..the Bible even allows it in certain circumstances for example Adultery. And Maybe one of the churches you visited was committing spiritual adultery. This or that please don't let your soul to go running after faults here and there Jesus died for your personal sins, he wants a relationship with you privately, and when the day of the judgement comes it's gonna be person by person. And you being in this or that group will not make any meaning. Just join a church or Congregation that shows you the God in the Bible, him and only him and helps you grow in the body of Christ. Honestly speaking I have been like a child in the house of God for so long, I pray that I don't set your Journey to Christ back with any wrong word I have said. Please ask others who know better. But the first step is something you can do by yourself. God be with you!
