We’ve done raw feeding with our dogs for 10 years. Nothing pre-made. We have always just bought the meat in bulk and made their meals. We used to weigh it when we first started out but now we just throw it together. So great to see another raw feeder. It’s becoming a lot more common, the more people who gain knowledge about it’s health benefits.

Same here and we’ve noticed a huge difference in our German shepherds health. Their coats are so thick and minimal shedding!

We do the same, we give them brown rice & some of the costco frozen vegetables also. We mix it all with hamburger from the big packs of hamburger from costco. We also buy lots of roast chickens & make bone broth from the skin & bones in our instant pot, just add water til full & press the stew/soup button. We do two cycles to make the bones really soft. The dogs love it & their coats look good. We use the bone broth for us too & we share the chicken meat with our dogs. We come home from Costco & our dogs look so excited. They must think we’re excellent hunters we come back with roasted chickens & beef. Ha!

Pink Lady, Honey crisp, and Envy apples are my favorites!!! Envy is usually in between pink lady snd honey crisp, price wise!

I also have those SIL pads but be warned, you cannot use over certain temperature. Says on package.

Just a tought ... if you can get, potatoes and carrots cheaply and in better sizes at farmer market, they both can up nicely, so they are handy for soups, pot pies etc that way you have to just get small amounts to munch on and you have them.. samw thing for apples and onions, apples store for many months, you can dry them and make wonderful applesauce... just ways to help the wallet:)blueberries freeze well and makes a wonder full snack and get fresh eggs and meat from a local if you can:). Our Costco is over 2 hours away so it’s scary when I go

About the apples. There are some called Sugar Bee and omg they are my favorite! I dunno if they sell them everywhere though but if you see them you gotta try them, they usually have a honeybee on a honeycomb for a barcode sticker

That was a fantastic shopping haul, although it still amazes me how quickly supermarkets spend our money. Isla is getting so big, it's hard to believe that she is already 11 months old. Fruit doesn't last 5 minutes in my house either. Have a wonderful weekend 💞
